Internship was really helpful in both learning & having fun with my old colleagues. I had done my summer internship in the same company where I worked but in different unit, so it gave me opportunity to meet my old colleague & also gaining lot of knowledge from the project.
Since our batch was 1st batch, we didn't have any alumni but the alumni of our Bangalore college were really helpful in bringing companies to our college for placements.
The faculty of our college was not up to the mark as they usually appoint their main and experience teachers in first or second year and then they leave us to inexperienced and young teachers. usually in engineering we are prepared for more practical work as compared to theoretical but in our college they dint teach us practical work and it was considered a free period for us
The course structure was very well designed and u have a choice to design the course of your own. Automobile engineering, manufacturing practice, numerical methods are some of the elective course which we can choose of our own. In mechanical engineering usually one study about the machines and thus they do research on various mechanical activities.
College was good and given us good life and experience on college life. I loved t. All other students were also good. Factulty was enough educated. Extracurricular activites were conducted enough so we learned alot there. all sports particpication, culture events were there.
Colleges celebrated maximum festivals.it was ganesh festival, fresher party, farewell parties and other festival as well. All was big and conducted at big level outside of college. For every function guest were invited from outside and different program were conducted.

We have a separate team for the events of technical, cultural, management festivals in our college.cultural events is taken care by samskruthi department, technical events by the respective departments.
We have a separate team for the events of technical, cultural, management festivals in our college.cultural events is taken care by samskruthi department, technical events by the respective departments. Dhanush is the name of the fest that is a national level fest conducted every year in our college.
The college granted fee-concessions and other facilities in deserving cases only in sports and other Low caste students. I don't know much about the fee structure as i have never compared. But at my study time, i didn't get any kind of concession. Only Part payment was allowed.
I don't know exactly for current time but at that time no kind of scholarship allowed even one of the Professor Mr. Rajesh Anand personally arrange d all books for me. Yes we can take books from Library for some days.
I appeared for Rajasthan PET (RPET) which is part of AIEEE now. I secured 372 rank. I was getting Electrical branch in nearby colleges but NIT-Trichy is best engineering college not only for learning but also for personal development which is why i opted for for Civil Engineering in NIT - Trichy.
Yes, professor offers challenging intern project which help us to understand and learn latest technologies. These improve our knowledge area also. and yes stipends also paid accordingly.
feasible. Below 50k an year.in our time electeical semester fees were around 6000 every odd semester and 7000 every even semester. But for computer science and electronics and IT fees were 18000 per semester. Other than that one time hostel bed rent was taken 5000 for whole 4 year. No separate bill for electeicity or water. Mess charges for food and laundry was around 900-1200 per month.
Campus life was real cool. Bongs and nons(non bengali) were mingled well. There were very few women students and faculties. In electrical there were only 3 girls out of 60 students. Non bengalis were from rich families and bongs were mostly from middle class and poor families. But people were liberal to religion or ethnicity. I have room mate from bangladesh.
Cultural fests, tech fests were the most happening events in the college. Tech fests encourage so many newest technologies which are trending. Its like a knowledge exchange forums with so many students and faculty researching and experimenting.
We had so many technical and cultural acitivities all through the year. The tech and cultural fests were held in the same week usually and there are so many sports events all through the year which many colleges do not encourage.
The college can be much more decorated with good interiors good advertisement & other mode of exposures are required so that more students come to know about a very good college getting unnoticed.
AIEEE - 9600 air its a college runned by reputed group named techno india and as it is located in a remote location within nature it creates an ambiance for peaceful study.
Vnr vjiet is well known for its placement assistance as far as my knowledge approximately 400 out of 1400 students in our batch were placed in tcs itself with a package of 3.2lpa. however other mnc's like deloitte (4.8lpa), capgemini (2.4lpa), tech mahindra, amazon, mahindra and mahindra and many it companies visited our campus. unfortunately students from core background (civil, mech and automobile engg) were put to disappointment by the placement cell.
Campus life was more exciting than the classroom life with all the facilities we have which includes. Sports block with all indoor and outdoor games on all days, a student only block with all the cubs such as dance, music, fine arts and drama in addition tro the regular classworks we used to have workshops, guest lecturers, mun. There were some intolerances but they were all a part of fun.
Academics and extra-curriculars are best managed BIM. There is complete freedom for everything as long as no one is affected. BIM is known for its night life when most students stay awake till 2 or 3 chatting, doing assignments, playing.Girls have to leave to their hostel by 10pm. The ratio of boys to girls stand at 3:1 as of now. There is no mandatory ratio. varies every year. The hostel has a decently big cricket cum foot ball court, outdoor badminton court, an indoor TT court and an informal basket ball pole too. There is a canopy near the mess where most of the non cultural events like discussions, debates and committee events take place.
I feel there is a bit of internal politics. however they do not reflect upon the students. The faculty ensure that the students gain out of their teaching. They are easily approachable and friendly. Its more of a flat organisation where students need no appointments to meet anyone unless it the top most management. The infrastructure needs to improved. The currents facilities just meed our need and not our wants. There is value for money when it comes to academics, food and pleasant environment. But no value when it comes to infrastructure.
Yes, Its a deemed university and we had a strike and a fight once upon a time with Management for getting approval of college properly with Indian government under Technical university and ISO certified. Later, In newspaper news has come that deemed university has no need to get approval with HRD minister but they must ISO certified and college did it.
Before, 2008 there was only local students were studied from Tamilnadu. When college earn fame and name then students get involved with this college. That's why I am not aware too much with my seniors and alumni students but after that I know so many junior's who were doing excellent and all are working on this planet.
Campus is very big in our college there are 3 engineering colleges in single campus so its huge and gender ratio is not quite good boys are little bit more. All the sports, labs, robotics, debates all things held in here and they are very generous and helpful for students.

Our colleges annual fest is called Panache, ans other than that we have Vivekotsva, FreshChill (For freshers). Many sports competitions every year, and many more events. Course curriculum is average, I am in CS branch and we only get to learn C and C++ from the college and that also in very basic way and other than that we only got theoretical knowledge or bookish knowledge. We also ot access to many practical labs but overall it was an average as compared to expected outcome from such a college.
Fee structure is too much in our college. They are also collecting donations from many students and the donations for our department is the highest donation comparing to the others it is like 7 lakhsand per semester we have to pay 86000 and even we have to pay some extra fees as some unnecessary fines
Regardin placements our college was not that good. but this year so many good companiees also came, actually most of thhose companies were not oriented with aerospace engineering. most of those companies were from IT COMPANIES, like infosys, etc aerospace companies were asystems, ramco, unitech
We have a good alumni network. Seniors are helpful even after you pass out from college. We have NIT ReCal named alumni association. There is one alumni event being conducted in every manor cities at least once a year.
When it comes to placement you just cant beat NIT trichy. Average package for CSE was 10lpa and for core branches 6-8lpa. However facebook gave 145lpa as well. MS India gave 17 lpa.
