There are total of 8 semesters each of them containing 5 or 6 subjects, in the last semester there was training or internship program of 6 months, there were sessional exam which contains 20% of semester exams & 10% for assignments aligned. theory exam consists of 4 sections containing 100 marks and internal 50 marks in every subject.

Honestly speaking, there was no internship provided from any company in our college, We had got the letter from college to do the internship at our own, I must say they should concentrate on this part as well, i did my internship from MNC like Andritz Hydro, JCB & yamaha motors.

Many companies came they offered an average of 3l per anumm. Comapnies like TCS, videocon, reliance industries , bosch arrived. There were few off campus also in nearby colleges and there were job fairs which gave a fair chance to get selected.

In this college what i observed nearly 50 percent faculty will be keep changing every year to year. Missy of the time they bring freshers or else a person who has not much experienced. The remaining fixed faculty will be well qualified having good experience and are capable of controlling the engineering students. Because sometimes it because very hard to get control over the class, faculty comes in such a situation that you give your attendance and you can leave the class. Surprisingly class will be empty except first benchers. Coming to mechanical it has good qualified faculties. Few are from IIT's and one is from IISc who has vast experience in every field from software to vibration. Remaining assistant faculties are mostly localites who have done their degree under VTU itself. One fact is that management always reviews the faculty by taking the feedback from students. Sometimes asks for demo also.

It celebrates most of the events celebrated by an engg college right from fresher's day to founders day. It has many clubs which includes group of students who are genuine regarding the club. Like Dance club, for kannada culture Samskrithi club, for photography iris club, etc are there. As college runs Day basis (i.e irrespective of the week and holiday time table continues) every Day 4 will afternoon sessions are reserved for these everts. They organise essay competitions, singing, quiz, painting etc and they give awards for the winners with certificates. In every even sem a state level fest called 'cultura'of two days will be organised. Where all type of plays come out. Singing dancing madAds memes fashion show DJ. Most poplar part of cultura is Fashion shows and DJ. Where they bring high rated bands like sunburn.

Campus life is very good and lab and sports life is very good competions labs debates are very good in my college and college infastructure is very nice and lab is also good and lab teachers are very nice and care taking persons.

IT was very good lab experience and lab was very good no xams and lab were very not frequent and there was no hectic day in my college dayand i was chilled out the day in my college and i have very good experience in lab.

Placement and job opportunities are provided to each and every student who are eligible as per the respective company policies. Most of the companies allow those candidates who have 70% in aggregate.A few bluechip companies like Google and Microsoft hired a few candidates with 15-22LPA package. Most of the students gets placed in TCS, CTS, Wipro, Capgemini with a package of 3LPA to 4LPA. This year TCS hired a record number of candidates, 508 out of 650.

Those who are meritorious but can not afford this fees structure can avail scholarships available under different schemes in our institute. There are scholarships for students who are considered as 'Minority Candidates'.If any candidates wishes to apply for a loan, he/she can apply for it instantly from the Punjab National Bank, Anandapur Brach, located inside the campus.

Vitmaa, Atharva, Riviera, corporate conclave, freshers, farewell, Pongal, and Christmas eve. All with cultural n great shows. All exposed their talents to prove their contribution towards it.

100% placement for marketing and few for financial and HR students. All mnc's with 4-6 lak per annum. Few got selected less than 3lakhs but in gud reputable companies. Many banks visited too.

The fees structure is pretty good the break up for each year is 285000 per year which include a laptop/ipad and an international trip to Dubai or Singapore. There is 24hrs wifi facility provided in college.

The college events where talent hunt independence day, teachers day, traditional day, brand slam PUMB Araan bhumi there are a huge amount of participation in each event. Especially in PUMBA and Raan Bhumi as they are inter college event

The faculty of the college is topnotch, I would say. You can expect them to be fairly good in their knowledge and experience. The try every possible way to explain us and give us their knowledge.

The college have several events such as its main event that is Kalrav. Its fairly good and popular as well among the delhi university students. Students from every college comes in this event.

Some Faculties are friendly and some are very bad. They always Try to fear students by saying ''we have 30 marks with us if we put 0 then u'll never clear that subject'we are new and don't know anything about labs and they simply given old records and asked us to do Practicals.

Every year we used to Conduct one Fest, I Thought Big is That which we Organized in My final year. We invited all other College students to participate in technical, cultural Programs. All Our Faculties also Supported Us to Make the Event Big.

Like in every other college i guess. Few were very helpful and supportive. the was a sir Dr. Harish Chandra , currently posted in srinagar, garhwal, he was an actual professor, who knew how to make someone interested in his subject, there were just a few like him. Most were the same giving downloaded notes and preparing the semester paper from the same. So to sum up the entire faculty standards, given that its an govt. engineering college, I would say its the same as in other govt. bodies.

There are basically two events that takes place: one is a cultural event called Goonj and the other Sports event. Both runs for 3 days. they are mostly celebrated with lots of enthusiasm as there is nothing else(source of entertainment or recreation in the region). Cultural event hold various events like play, drama, dance, musical event and includes technical events which just sounds technical and nothing fruitful comes out of it.

I got internship in DVC MAITHON long other 5 students. It was a lovely experience for me to complete internship in DVC. We were offered a stipend of Rs 3000 during the internship. We learnt a lots of things in hydel power plant, that we cant learn in my textbook. Thanks to my college for providing us internship in DVC.

Placement cell my college was one of the beast in comparison to rest of the college in this university. Almost every students were placed, but a few of t hem got a very reputed company, but it does not matter.

My internship will be beginning in few days so I can't give detailed review but they say that internship at Sion is the toughest and the one where least no of people get further admission into PG courses stipend is around Rs 7,000.

Best campus life in all medical colleges of mumbai includes both sport and quiz and extra curriculum activities. Many celebraties were invited for our event as well as renowned sport player. There was large play ground for sport and extra curriculum activities. There is local Marathi event for first night , second night is dance and last night is fashion night. First four days are reserved for sport events.

No companies came and placement was pathetic we had to go out and struggle for ourselves and the because of the humiliation of being jobless some ended up at call centers and non core jobs and that will haunt us for our entire life to taking such a college.

Faculty did their best because even the college did not pay them well and hence got low grade faculties and we had to adjust to that not that experienced ones only one or two from ten were good rest all were recently graduated ones only.

There is more female than male i.e. more no. of girls than boys. There are annual function in hostel and total of two parties in hostel. There are socities on anti ragging and on female protection and on student rights and demand. There are inter college and inter hostem matches of various sports and many workshop on engineering is also held.

Many events are being held in university and collegeas college is under the university panjab university so university events and festivals also included where students can participate and organise. Any event in college is cyanide held in feb. and various events in university like agaaz, jhankaar , etc

As i already told Its my 2nd year. So till now i have done one internship only and for 2 months. I worked with Kredant Academy. First 15 days it was unpaid but when they liked mu way of working so it turnrd into paid one. Then for one n half months i got Rs.4000.

First I have to clear my ISC Boards and i have got 89.25%, Then i applied for admission to this college and i got it through my ISC marks. Bhawanipur college is Calcutta University based. After 1 Year I gave my B.com 1st year exam but result not yet out.

Staying in College campus is the most exciting part of the whole journey. College is surrounded by hills which gives you a better scenic beauty. College not only have students from all over India but has international students too from whom you can interact and discuss about cultural differences. Various events which happen round the year helps students to groom out their skills in the field they like whether it is debates, speech, paper presentation, dramatics, quizzes, group discussions, sports, robotics, music, dance , painting and many more. These events have students from not only from dehradun but also from other state colleges.

The exam pattern in UPES is quite strict. The pattern is divided in three ways- the internals which included tests, assignments, quizzes and attendance holds 30% weight age of the semester marks. The second is mid sem which take place in mid of the semester and holds 20% weight age of semester. The third and finals are End sem which take place at the end of the semester. The labs are also a part of curriculum which are quite serious. They have their self assessments and exams which need to be passed to get the degree.

In Sgsits students have more opportunity all compare all other engineering college each students have 3-4 offer letter in day one company Infosys, TCS and cognizant wipro hire more number of students but also drem category company like Microsoft , ittayam , snapdeal, sap , musigma, amdocs , persistent , tata technology , impetus , systango , Asian paint , dellote , assentors , IBM , syntel I am also placed in four company.

College have large group because college is too old at 1952 established each year alumni meet organized by college. In meeting all the pass out batch share his experience and they provide guidance how to improve college ranking and deployed beat engineers to according the current industry requirement.

All the activities wherever good in deed and helped students in finding their hidden talent. Every student was developed to their full potential. There were sports meet, tournaments and many other things as well.

Bombay stock exchange came with a offer of rs 7000 per month as stipend.Students were very pressed with the whole program and it was worth very penny. Many more companies have started to come there now a days.
