Faculty was really good. I would specially like to mention Ms. Shelly Verma, Deepa Verma, Ms. Harpeet Kaur, Ms. Rekha Sharma, Ms Kajleen Kaur, Ms. Aradhana Nanda. All were extremely hard working and well versed with their subject. All of them taught really well. We had frequent assignments and tests which were helpful for us. They not only helped us with the curriculum but were a support system in other aspects as well.

Generally a DU student never bothers to study whole the year and studies a day before the exams. Sometimes one experiences a technical paper du to which the day becomes hectic but the paper is easy all the student enjoy to the fullest.

Faculty of the college is not so good. They help us in studying well but they are not at all cooperative. At the starting of every year one or two faculties are never present mean that in some subject there is a vacancy.

Good is its located on the main road so the connectivity is really nice and the Building Infrastructure was also nice. BAD is there faculty was very poor ever year we seen new teachers and staff. No Campus is also a bad remark and the most no Hostel Facility and Canteen also too small were no more then 10 Students at a time can Sit. which is a very bad this for a student like me who loves to sit in the Canteen and enjoy the company of my freinds.

Faculty of Oriental College was very very Nice. All the teacher especially the Maths madam were great. Not seen such a kind of Faculty whose changes every year. All the 3 years i had spent i had seen New teacher coming and old leaving within the same year.

Companies like HP, JP Morgan Bpos it was indeed good in attending that kind of exposure, But i did not get job over der but got good exposure!!!Best college for commerce, good lecturers, environment, surrounding i just love it.

I opt this college because this college is the no.1 college in our country for marine engineering. My college comes in top rank in word ranking for marine engineering. So, this college was my first choice. To get admission in this college we have to give Emucet entrance exam and have to score less than 1000 rank.after that there will be your online counselling. If your rank is good then you will get tha chance to choose . If your rank is not too good then you have to choose only that college and department in which seat is blanked. To sit in imu cet you have to qualify some criteria, that means you should have 75% min. In pcm subjects and atleast 60% in english.

Gender Ratio is quite male dominating apart from labs, library and 2 auditoriums, NSIT also has a gym with almost all excercise equipment for males and females. NSIT also has a large circular sports arena which has a large cricket ground, a football ground, 2 volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts(hard), 2 basketball courts. There are various societies for extracurricular activities like Junoon(photography), Debsoc(debating society), ashwamedha (play/theater)etc.

There were so many alumni who are pretty much good at their fields, and are at respected position. They are the pride of the college, some of the times we get their references for motivation and to increase the pride of college.

There is good placements and job opportunities in my college but there is only software based companies are came for placements but i am not interested in software side so i took forward and prepared for m.tech admission in iit's.

There is no such thing in my class that boys exceed the girls in number because it's an engineering degree. In fact, girls number exceed the boys.The hostelers get a hostel night to attend which is a mesmerizing experience for them every year. (Alas! Not for the localities.) Workshops are also organised by our department's HOD from time to time on topics like cloud computing, ethical hacking etc. We have a cultural and technical society named CESS and is managed by students entirely. It organises technical and literary events every week.

Our college doesn't provide any internship for the computer science students. However, the students in electronics and communication engineering have a training at the end of 2nd semester.However, the placement cell keeps on updating the students if any company offers an internship.Coming to the placements, major companies also known as the mass recruiters like TCS visit our campus on the first day of placement session. Other companies like nagarro, capegemini, infogain, amdocs, tech mahindra etc also visit our campus.

I our college the student happy with that environment but they dont provide any games , we only played after college timings and our own interset.And come to lab it is usefull for student because in our collge they provide lab maximum hours tom studuent and learn new things.

Exams were conducted Under University of Calcutta. Exams were hectic indeed as the syllabus was too large and non -attractive compared to NCERT, CBSE (Which are highly valuable sources for inforamtion).CU lagged behind with old syllabus which was not in trend with current innovation .

Extracurricular activities, Canteen were almost non-existent. No sports facility except TT was there. Yes, only once I saw debates to be happening. Boring in a word, below average experience about the college. But I learned to acclimatise in different situation

Don't know much about internship as never wanted one but have heard that companies from like TATA do take some students for internship and some foreign companies have also showed interest.

Fee wast a problem for any student as it was a gov college and was very cheap it was around 4 to 5 thousand a year the only thing that mattered was the line that before fee counter.

The faculty is very good and tries to explain us every single details properly and they try to make us everything very easily and deeply and tries to make us focus in every subjects with extra stuffs and other activities.

We get to celebrate Jashn and Cultural Annual Function and Sports Meet up with extra activities like debates, hand writting competition etc etc and we get to participate in all and staff members support us.
