The entire academic year is filled with events varying from technical to cultural,The technical fest called tesseract is usually held in the month of november with various exhibitions,workshops for different departments and Paper Poster presentations,participation from in and around gujarat are seen. Whereas the Cultural fest,Flare, is organised in the month of March and has participation from all over the country and is graded to be the best festival in colleges of gujarat.

PDPU usually takes in students on the basis of AIEEE,I scored around 170 and i opted for this particular college because it had specialization in the core branches along with the essentials of the energy sector, so the relevance of Civil Engineering in oil and gas sector made a sense to me.

Cultural, educational competitions and activities held in the campus as well as there in outside.

Placement services provided by the college.

We had full time regular Classes all the year round. Faculty members were very cooperative. They provided support to each student according to the level of understanding of the students on the subject. Digital classrooms are also organised now.

Loan facility is not offered by college. One has to personally approach the banks for the same. However, it becomes easy if you are taking admission in techno india because banks know its brand value and the efficient placement cell.

The placement % is around 80% and the companies are infosys ,TCS, HCL.

AIEEE, i got 80% marks in exam and i like engineering course .

Rather one the best college in terms of placements and job opportunities .For my batch there were six mass recruiters to select from. All in all there are 300+ companies that provide job opportunity .One bug problem for NCR students is that they have to fly to Chennai, where the main campus is located, for placement process.

As such there were not much awareness about companies coming to offer internships .Till second year but in third year faculty and department were very thorough about trainings and internships.

The college management is really good. They provide very affordable and high class facilities to their students. Also the student pass out from there have high rate of success in their carrier path.

Very good. We enjoy studying there, learn foreign languages, games activities and many more.

Current fees structure for my batch is amounting nearly 55, 000rs per annum. There is a steep rise in fees amounting nearly three times d previous batch which had 22, 000 per annum to be paid. My following batch was left speechless with another hike and know its getting tougher and tougher not only to take admission but even after u get one u are worried about the fees structure.

Scholarship faculty are provided by the government for the caste students in the form that they don't have to pay the fees which is ultimately paid by the government. For open category students institutions like Tata foundation, Narottam sheksaria foundation, Nirav modi foundation and Hamir mehta foundation are there which provide scholarships to needy.

The course curriculum is sufficiently detailed to cover various areas in the field of management.First year is common for all students that emphasizes on both accouting, marketing and general management concepts.The students are required to opt for specific specializations - Marketing, Finance, HR or Operations in the second year.Somaiya college is best known for it's marketing specialization course and the industry renowed academia. Finance specialization is credible as well with senior faculties with industry and teaching experience of more than 10 years.HR is preferred by candidates due to industry attractiveness and faculty that's and mostly doctorates & PHD interns. Students are encouraged to publish white papers & research articles on certain key topics

The campus life is amazing and as suggested in the title, it's like living a second life away from home. The male female ratio is 60-40. There is a diverse mix of people from different states, religions and academic backgrounds. College encourages students to participate in inter-college competitions and events. Computer lab is well equipped to cater to 100 students at a time. Library is spacious and has one of the widest collection of books. There is a huge sports ground right next to college where students enjoy their time playing football and cricket

Yess, the college provide scholarship for families who have SC/ST quotas and if a person is poor that even he cant bear any amount, then also the students provide free education by college if he is good in studies. The loan is easily available from any bank for the college. Many of my friends even opted for bank loan and graduated from this college.

As i am in final year there are many companies that came to the college for campus drive placements. Till now i sit in more than 5 companies and my last semester is left till. There is good placement for cse and it students. But for ece & eee companies are less as compared to cse & it. The average packages of the companies is about 4 lacs/annum.

Good is all teachers are cooperative bad is no much functions and entertainment .

To many exams leading to good marks in online and final exam.

Campus life is soothing, extracurricular activities are also good as we have state level competition held at college while there is lack of games time in college hours .Parties are not allowed within campus premises, labs are quite good also we have a dedicated workshop for individual projects.

Fees is feasible, not too much expensive. It is approximately 35k without bus fees. And is moderate for a private college .Bus fees is about 16k per year. Bus fees is not mandatory so you can also opt for not paying bus fees if you live nearby or come from your own mediums.

Its good for sports indoor and out door stadiums are there.Facility for swimming, badminton, lawn tennis, hockey, football, cricket, basket ball and athletics is available. regularly yoga and meditation classes are organized. A fully furnished gym for boys and girls is there.For discussion lot of study circles are there starting from tech forums to cultural forums.

Sastra is the famous tech festival and sarang is famous cultural festival. Apart from that every department has their individual tech fest like biotech department has biofest.

I choose this college because of the laboratory and faculty are good and environment also good. I interested in vlsi domain that is chip design and manufacturing so i try to go that domain. I took EAMCET exam with 60% scored.

Job opportunities also good many got placed in IT sector, but i interested in vlsi domain thta's why i not attended it sector.

Worst experince about it I arrange it own my own college not arrange it and may 2 and 3 company comes there for placement and the college had arrange the intenship which we have to pay an lump sum amount placement is worst.

2 or three company which provide marketing job and the salary 108000 to150000 per annum most of insurance company May be 10 to 20 placed in the marketing job not sure.

No stipend. In fact I don't understand in which country we are living where for higher education no stipend is given in fact if somebody sacrifices the job and earning he has to live like a parasite on his parents. If someone can't afford higher education because of economic compulsions looses his higher education career because even if he pursues through distance education that's us not recognised.

Exploitation at its best that too by governments under different schemes calling them rehbare taleem ( guides for teaching) as an example of education department are just paying salary of 1500 for five years. Many more like this.

Crossroads is the India's second largest cultural festival organized by the students' union SRCC. The fest witnesses a footfall of over 80000 people over the four days.

No entrance exam. Got on basis of Class 12th Marks. I scored 97.5%. I opted for this college because its the best in the country.

My view there are not many improvements to be considered very seriously. Personally i feel the management in some of their processes needs to be improved. Example When i got to work on my project in IIT kharagpur i faced some issues regarding the accommodation alloction of laptop,approvals from the management regarding hostels etc. However the process is finally successful but it took a lot of time for me to get all the approvals. So i feel this should be abit fast which doesn't affect the students time. Other than this i personally feel lucky to be a part of this organisation in terms of both studies and exposure to outside world.

The college annual symposium is organized in the month of January/March and apart from that there are various other events that are organized by the college.

There are good labs and a very big library for the ones who want to study and enough extracurricular activities for the ones who want to participate in that.

they are more interested in theoretical knowledge there are at least interested in practical knowledge so just be prepared for hard work.

2000 my experience was awesome i learned many things which make me easy adaptable to corporate world.
