It has a huge campus with a lot of greenery. Good hostals, big playground and clean environment. There are many educational societies like BIRDS (Debate society), ORION CLUB( robotics) and others which provides a better environment for study and improvement. Due to co-education, there is a hormony among boys and girls. Campus is fully connected through 24*7 wifi internet connectivity.

Many companies like Infotech pvt. lim., Infogain and other software companies have recently visited in september month and still counting. For placement at a annual package of 3 to 5 lacks. This is starting of acedemic year and till october starting, nearlt 8 companies has visited our college.many students have got offer from two or more companies.

I am doing Four years BE mechanical engineering course. Facultu n senior students for quite good and so supportive in nature. We all have nice army retired engineers. who teaches very well practical labs are so nice n campus is so so awesome in area of descipline this college is one of the finesh college in india. this college takes about 300 students per year to make students well engineers for their country. I also provides the scope for direct army selection.

The college has several societies/organizations made for such activities, but at time they need to be regularized with more engaging things to keep up with the interests of the students.The gender ratios and diversity are pretty usual but you will definitely recognize animation students with typical colorful tees, long hair, guitar and creativity oozing out of them.

One tends to wonder about the recruitment cell when they are in their last semester but Wipro, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Securities do come to this college but students just don't feel satisfied. For animation students,the jobs do depend on their work and the portfolio they build. Average salary offered is around 3LPA to 4LPA.

Our college is the best in all aspects engineering Workshop is a part of the S & H Department and offers the trades of Fitting, Carpentry, House wiring, Black Smithy and Sheet metal work. Our college is located in the heart of the city where it has very good conveyance facility academically it is excellent as most of the students got placed in very good companies.

Our college conducted some cultural festivals where many colleges had participated and we got a good exposure about many educational events in the educational fests. Our college is known to sports it is one of the best college for sports and other cultural events. JIGNASA is the best festival we had celebrated.

Our collage structure was soo nice but the management was not so good. It's one reason was maybe that it was Government collage. Our college was placed in jungle area so its sight's and environment so nice and clean.according to me GEC modasa was best in

The college helps in every way possible. Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management is the college to look out for.

Yes IISWBM provides the opportunity to do internship. This is either provided by the college or a student can find his or her own internship. General stipend depends on the organisation chosen and this may vary from Rs. 8000 to Rs. 10000. The experience to attend certain internships can be a factor but not for all.

Another important part of curriculum is that the internship projects which we are done in the 6th semester and i really get some interior knowledge about the corporates only by doing my internship the stipend that offered are really enough for us

Faculties are well trained in their own specialisation and they are well qualified for their job easy to understand their teaching even now a days i follow their words which are motivated me to act upon

Course of B.E stream cse is extremely good. The bachelor of mca/mtech qualified can teach that course. Better to teach and study there. All thing is good like study and there. First of all there no ragging so all are like friends/brother experience - Seniors though me and learnt me well. They help me in study sports activity and all that engineering student have to face in college to companies. They are best seems like my family.

Yes our college Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology,Durg does provide internship but we are send outside to do our internship. It is much like summer vocational training when we are send to do our vocational training. Students have the choice to do wherever they want to do their vocation training. From our college side, students are sent to Bhilai Steel Plant,Bhilai for training. But the quantity of selected students that are sent to Bhiali Steel plant are based on merit based.

In Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering and Technology,DurgVarious events happens throughout the year. But our main even is the national level technical event called SAMVID which is orgainsed by Shri Shankaracharya Group of Institute. It is a three day event in which various cultural programs are orgainsed,Online Gaming,LAN Gaming, In doors games,Six-aside football matches,RAMP walk,Dance event showcase your and various other events happens.

Placements offered by college: Infosys and Wipro are Day 1 Sharing company. Infosys:3, 25, 000, around 200 placed, Wipro:2, 75, 000-3, 25, 000, around 132 placed. Within these, almost 100 are repeaters. Next, comes Mindtree which selects around 30 candidates. Then, Capgemini comes and selects 25-30 candidates. Capgemini is like alternating to us. It comes for one year, doesn't comes in second, then comes in third. And then Tech Mahindra is there which selects around 15 candidates. Other companies are Sankalp Semiconductors, Cognizant(pool campus), IBM India and other small startups. All the later companies mentioned offers a CTC package of around 3 lakhs to the freshers.For cognizant it's 3 lakhs exact. For Tech Mahindra, surprisingly the salary is disclosed. However, the students are offered on the basis of the training they take.

A few events celebrated in our college are: 1)Zygon(Annual Function), 2)Noesis(TechFest), 3)Freshers welcome and Orientation, 4)Intercollege sports tournament. These events are being organized by the college at different periods of time.Noesis is having different events included such as robotics, Coding, Web Designing. For robotics, we have a robotics club which organizes competition in both manual and automated. We also care for gamers and organize computer games such as Counter, Strike, NFS, FIFA etc. Now, when it comes to Zygon, it's a 3 day event where each and every branch gathers and do some stage performance, mostly final year students.Also, some festivals are being celebrated in college such as Diwali, Holi, New Year etc.

There was a summer training attended by me after last semester. That's experience can be correlated with internship's experience and there is no stipend given for industrial training. In the summer training, I learnt asp dot net and made website for an old age home as a live project.

Scholarship of Rs.10,000 is given to the students who have got merit every year with no back in the past semesters. Loan facility is not available. Unfortunately, I've not availed scholarship from the College as I am not eligible to get that.

The internship happend in BSNL for electronics. There was not stipend during over time.We had to apply for internships voluntarily. Although only a few companies would offer a stipend, the likes of Mahindra Rise and Tata Steel/ Tata Motors, the overall internship experience in any mechanical company is fulfilling.

The course curriculum of this college comes under RGPV, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, and the curriculum was as per the university. Course curriculum is very well structured with routine tests to asses one's performance. Grades are also awarded for better attendance in respective subjects.

10 percent placement in government engineering college.Civil branches are no more placement in GEC bhavnagar. Computer branches are more placement in GEC bhavnagar. Mechanical branches are more placement in GEC bhavnagar. Few placement are in civil and EC engineer.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamindira, Belur math is the though of Swami Vivekananda and My college has own admission procedure and take own the entrance examination for each and every stream. For me economics entrance examination is held in 2005 after passing my 10+2. For economics entrance examination they took 100 marks math and 50 marks English examination separately. I score well in math but not very well in English.

Placement and job opportunities is there in my Graduation college But not much. CTS and TCS are only came for placement in your college. My college is not technical college that's why there is not much job opportunities. But in that year 2008 TSC and CTS ware took about 80 people form my college. I am not selected in campussing.

The ratio of male to female is 1. 5:1 and thats a healthy ratio with the ambience of college being excellent. There are events except the studies also to give a over all personality to the students like debates, indoor and outdoor sports. The dress code is strict over here with a proper check on the students of their behaviour.

The placement and job opportunities are amazing as per the kolkata senario. The average salary is 5. 5lacs per annum. The companies like wipro, itc, imrb, sbI and many more comes for placement. The placement over here not only gives kolkata a option BT gives the options to work all over india and some places in abroad too.

It is under West Bengal University of Technology and course and curriculum is dully through its rule. Faculties are very friendly and helpful,but there is some lack of no. of qualified teachers in some dept. There is no good faculty as their no. of students. The management is not proper for this. So we have to suffer for this.

Although our collage near the world most cultural place santiniketan, There did not held any so cultural program by collage management. Only some tech-fest or some cultural program is organised by students. Football,cricket,tennis and other sports are held by the students and by n.c.c dept.
