Placements & job opportunities is very good in my university.there are other social science subjects that were valuable for me to learn as well. For example, I was fortunate to have taken classes in psychology during my earlier years in college. I had always wanted to know more about psychology since I have found the human mind and how it works and develops very interesting. I have learned about the process by which the brain develops during infancy and childhood, the concept of repressed memories, and how distorted those memories become over time. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about all of this and hope to learn even more about different aspects of psychology in the future. I consider this subject a very valuable and important part of the college experience because, not only does it allow one to understand how their own mind works, but also gives them more knowledge of what the human mind and brain are actually capable of.

In addition to learning practical skills, being in college has also taught me a lot about social sciences such as sociology and history. For instance, I have had the privilege of learning about religions in unfamiliar parts of the world, such as Buddhism and Islam, that I had no knowledge of beforehand. From this experience, I have learned many interesting things about the cultures in which these religions are typically followed. Learning about many different religious ideas and practices in other areas of the world, like meditation, reincarnation, and the worshipping of multiple deities, has been valuable to mebecause it has cleared up some misconceptions I had, thus allowing me to be less ignorant on the topic. It has also given me a better understanding of others beliefs and traditions, no matter what region of the world they originated. This has made my time in college much more enriching and worthwhile.

Campus life will be like an oppurtunity to student whwther if he wants to study he can study, if he want to enjoy he can enjoy, as par i didnt saw any one obstructing but there will be attendance limit of 75% which everyone has to maintain and no parties are allowedinside hostel but some places are there inside college for doing those type of things, nothing tolerance is there.

College will provide internship, but i didnt went to any so i dont know about those experience but peoplewho did told me that its good, and some qualified companies are only coming for internships, but many local companies which are located in chennai only will be there for taking students for internships, but overall college will do a better job in providing internships.

The Course Curriculum was easy enough that you can complete in one night and got good marks in exams. Even to gain knowledge one should study 2 months before exam is good and rest time you can use for extra curricular courses. In my Branch,The Teachers are very supportive and helpful. You can ask them questions personally too when needed.

We had yearly freshers and farewell party organised by students themselves. It was not big but small and preety one we used to call the local singers and smtimes local mimicry persons. It was fun i must admit. Especially the freshersw party was good.guys used to collect money among themselves and have this fresher party.

Course curriculum and faculty was verygood. Regular clases were taken even if only one of the student comes. Faculty was very helpful in teaching and reffering good books and scoring better. Problem was rarely some funds were given to the students for research purposes. Especially for the scince student it was bad part.

I think about 20-30% are placed, because someone wants to study master class and so many were not able to seat in interviews because kurukshetra unversity is so tuff to clear paper in current timecompany like volkaswagen, samsung, bsnl, cheema boilers, ifosys, dell, tata communicatio and so many they were offered 1.20 lacs t0 3.50lacs p.a .

So many cultural and festivels were arranged, like fresher party, annual function, science exhibition, fashion week, blood donation camp, farewell party, cricket tournament, footbal match, drawing competition, chess, volleyball, atheletics, talents search and so many students were partcipated in huge as thier choices.

It is a B.tech in chemical engineering which is a four year course chemical does not means you are being taught chemical but total physics containing thermodyanamics, mass transfer, heat transfer, chemical reaction engineering, etc these topics are based on chemical but deal with calculation in physics faculty is like other government college here you can see variety of teachers like one taught very well but other you feel boring and sleepy they taught you but it depend on student how they learn and put their effort.

Many companies came here like reliance, heml, samsung, nestle, itc and many more the college get you admitted for training in different companies like iocl, bpcl, gail, and many more as government psus does not give any stipend but private give stipend from 6k-13k depend upon that company i have been trained at iocl as it takes long time for college to confirm your training company so one has to look into themselves for where to get training.

Gender ration is good Enough college located close enough too mountain range has good scenic beauty in seasons You can enjoy life at times sports and extracurricular activities are well motivated many tournaments and programs are conducted through out the year.

Campus politics on highsome find policts a comfortable one but some may not be sports and all recreational facilities available its a perfect place to blend you into a tough human who will be smart enough to face any adversity in life.

There are no student unions like panjab university its better to not to have one else politics starts in campus. So every student concentrate on studies and work for better future. Bad thing I can say that college do not utilises the funds given by govern

There are huge placement and job opportunities in the campus placements and if you want prepare for higher study you can prepare for that as good institutes are there in Chandigarh.
