Fees and Financial Aid

1. The year-wise fees will be around 50K. 2. Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admision fees, development fees, lab fees etc. are covered in semester fees. there is no extra fees charges other than this. The total course fees of SC & ST category is 20k to 30k less than the non-reserved categories. 3. The total course fees of one of my batch mate which belongs to SC category is around 1,38,000 lacs. 4. there are some government and private scholarships or financial aid available for students of different courses (according to their courses). like fee wavering, etc.

Faculty

The faculty-to student-ratio is good. Teachers are easy to approachable, and they treat us really kindly. However, i liked all my teachers but there is one mam "Nidhi grover raheja" i liked the most because of their teaching style and practical implimentation of all the concepts they teaching us. there are 5 to 6 subjects in one semester (it also depends on course-to-course). Exams are not so difficult.

The Faculty of DSEU are Knowledgeable, approachable and supportive . I especially Liked Miss Komal Dhingra and Mr. Nitesh Mathur for their clear teaching. The Course curriculum balances theory , labs and projects making it industry relevent . Exams are moderately Challenging with most students clearing them successfully

Faculty

The faculty members for our course kept changing over the 3 years of our graduation. Though they were approachable but some of them did not care even if the students are understanding the topics or not. I really appreciate Sir Rajiv who was a guest faculty but came every Saturday to teach and guide us. The exam pattern was different from other courses. We had university exams and also Nasscom assessment. University exams were conducted every semester but Nasscom exams were conducted in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th semester only. Nasscom exams include our practical subjects and universirty exam consisted of other subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

My year wise fees was approximately 25,000 per year. The complete course fees was nearly 75,000. The fees structure increased over the years as I am aware of the previous fee structure that was around 13,000 per year. I am not aware of the fees as per category. Apart from the yearly fee there was semester wise examination fee which ranged from Rs 510 to Rs 710. This included Rs 200 fee per practical course. We had 3 practical courses per semester. Rs 100 would be the Statement of marks fee and Rs10 would be Examination form fee.

Yearly Fee - INR 5500 (Tution fee) + 600 ( Practical fee) +1600 ( exam Fee) General sholarships available. Usually category based ( SC/ST , Differently abled , Other communities). For offline study material ( optional) - INR 5800 per year ( approx)

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very broad and relevant, it covers both theory and practical aspects of the subject. It is very nice to prepare for further higher studies, though more real-world cast studies and interactive teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly you have to pay 189000 and a separate hostel fee if applicable. Different scholarships are there, like for meritorious students. It can vary according to your percentage in graduation, 12th class, and there should be no gap year in between. In second year fee is around 178000. Scholarship can continue if you get a good CGPA in the first year. There are many students who get 100% scholarship in both years.

Faculty

In one section, you will have around 60 students and maybe more in elective subjects. Dr Shruti, Dr Smiriti, and Dr Rohan are among the teachers who are always ready to help, especially Rohan sir. Total 4 exams, a few assignments, quizzes and Research work. Internship in each sem is the best part of the whole course, the amount of exposure you get. Exams are of moderate difficulty.

Fees and Financial Aid

My experience at SRM IST,Chennai I am enrolled in SRM University and my annual fees is 300000.Considering the infrastructure, faculty ,labs and placement support,SRM has offered God value for what I am paying. The campus is modern, labs and workshop are well-equipped. Professors are approachable and the curriculum is relevant with good tie-ups/industry exposure. Even though the fees are relatively high,I was able to get scholarship(via SRM JEEE /merit) which significantly reduced the financial burder.withiut that it would have been difficult. Other fees(registration, development, lab, etc.) and hostel/message add up. So 300000/year is not the only expanse. The scholarship/waiver you get may require you to maintain a high CGPA in following years. If performance falls, waiver might be reduced or lost. Fee increments are happening; newer batches pay more.So if you join later, expect somewhat higher fees Over Verdict: For what I pay ,SRM IST gives a good academic, faculties and career prospects.the financial, and career prospects. The financial aid I got made a big difference. If you can secure a scholarship and are serious about studies, this college is worth it. And placement is also good here ,evey big MNCs is come here for hiring .

Faculty

The faculty at SRM University is well qualified with most holding phds or higher degreew .the faculty to students ratio is 1:20 , so professorw can give attention id approached. Many are friendly and approachable beyond class w guiding on projects and career queries. I particularly liked my data structures and mathematics professors as they explained and interactive with ral world examplew and interactive methods .

The college organized white coat ceremony and invite an academician on the occasion. It organized medical camps for exposure to students. The library have subscribed to reputed journals and the college also publishes its own journals. The college have e resources with internet facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is as per RGUHS Banglore which adequately prepared students for real world experience. The teaching methods need to be more competitive with case study of patients. The internal exams are conducted thrice in a year giving exposure to students.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is well maintained in our college. The best faculties I have come around is of Applied Psychology department. They are very approachable and always try to maintain a goof relationship with students. There are in total 8 semester exams and they are of moderate level, neither difficult nor easy. Very few fail to clear the exams. The course curriculum is relevant to the present problems in an individual's life and makes sense in real world too.

Campus Life

The campus life has been really nice so far. The people in my department are really nice and approachable. Students of other departments are al.so friendly and the overall environment is nice. The societies and clubs in our college are really active and there is always something or the other going on in campus. The eco club of our college is very warm and nice to be a part of it

Campus Life

My overall experience in campus are very good.. Also the curriculum and academic curriculum are very informative and Sufficient for students. The technical festivals curriculum and annual function are held in sol campus Du. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library. The library are so good and big there is very good books are available and related to contents of subject and courses. The facilities and technologies of the classroom are good because the teachers provide Smart classes for the students and smart ways of learning and teaching. And the sport's and extracurricular activities offered in campus are very good and make students active.

Faculty

The faculty to students relationship and teacher's are very nice and Sweet and it is approachable because the student are cooperative and supportive to the teachers. I liked the faculties like their teachings skills and the way of teaching is very good of teachers they use smart teaching and understand the problem of students in the concept. There is 6 semesters are held in the Delhi University in 3 years graduation then you received a degree. Some of the students was fail in few subjects because that is difficult for them. And the course curriculum was held accordingly to academic sessions.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fees is around rs.16000 2nd year fees is around rs.15000 3rd year fees is around rs.14000 Above mentioned are tuition fees. Admission fees is first semester fees itself.Lab fees , stationary fees and others including around rs.3000 for 3years. Fees is not based on community reservation but based on merit. Merit students have fees concession for around rs.2000. Merit based scholarship available but the application process takes long time and my classmates don't get that because before approval of scholarship,we are passed out.Few students got their Sc scholarship and Tamil Nadu Government scholarships .

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is quite low . Relationship bw us is very good and faculties are answering well while we approaching. I don't personally like or hate any faculties because no one has the entire quality of what I expected. But their lectures are understandable. Exams are easy to moderate in level. While some failed to clear, the number is varied bw departments. In my department of microbiology,2 to 4 students out of 42 are failed

Faculty

The faculty's here in Chandigarh University are really great in teaching as well as understanding student behaviour and needs. If a student faces a problem related to any subject or problem related to hostel or in campus activity they really listen to the student and help them in solving the problem as soon as possible. The faculty I like the most is Ayushi ma'am. She is a really great teacher as well as a great mentor. She listens to the student, tries to solve every problem, and is cooperative and intelligent as well. She talks in a humble way making the student anxiety free and calm. The best faculties are Ayushi ma'am and Navjot Trivedi sir. Some faculties are biased as well. They do favourism for a particular student of it is related to academics or co curricular or extra curricular activities. They never ask another to step forward other than their favourite ones. The faculty's I don't like are akrishti ma'am, utkarshita ma'am, abizar sir. During a whole 1 semester the total number of theoretical exams to be conducted are 3, 2 of them are mid semester test also called as MSTs and then the finals. Other than these practical MSTs are also held between the mid of the semester and at the end final practical examination are taken. In MST unit wise syllabus is need to be studied while in finals you have to study the whole syllabus. The number of students that fail to clear exams are really less in my class. The paper pattern is divided according to the student as it becomes easy to score marks like 2 marks questions then 5 marks and at last 10 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is largely relevant and well structured , covering both theoretical and practical aspects. It balances core subjects and specialization for elective subjects. The curriculum prepares me for real world application by enhancing my interdisciplinary learning, modern technologies aligned with my career goals. The areas that can be improved in the course curriculum and teaching methods are more guest faculties can be invited, and they can also take the students for ISR activities, they can also focus more on clinical and practical works. The frequency of exam is manageable , though sometimes assignments, files ,ppts create unnecessary pressure. The difficulty level of exams is fair, testing both theoretical understanding and practical application.

Campus Life

Since our college has opened recently and it is very small college, even even smaller than a standard high School, the campus life is not so good since our college is very small and we have been allotted the hostels away from the college by the college itself, the annual functions and festivals keeps on going whenever any festival came up like Durga Puja Navratri Ganpati surgeon, Diwali, Holi festivals have been enjoyed at the college premises as well as various other events like Asia that is the sports event and the intra College fest is also been conducted every year. Yes, there is the library which is quite filled up with the fascinating books and the generals of the medical and BS course as well as the MD course and various Other Knowledge from the books has been gained. All the adults are quite large which are sufficient for the capacity of the students and screen has been allotted from which the processor can present their PowerPoint to teach the students. Overall, the sports and the extra activities offered in the campus sufficient. Yes, very Sundar groups like Rotary club has been there in the college which runs social and recently the upcoming first the Rotary club will be conducting and going to the orphanage for for the Kojak Pujan

Faculty

Since every faculty member is quite nice to all the students and everyone makes lots of effort for teaching every student. There are good relationships between the teachers and the student Hindi and VS course of our college. Our one of the most likely faculty is of anatomy department as they taught us very nicely and Behave with us like our mothers and understand our problems and make us happy in our college. Regular tests that is FA are taken regularly and as well as the midterm and then the ends and then final exam. In this way, the exam structure of our college is too good that makes us learn before hand. The final exams and the mark scheme is also very nicely made and the faculty which we don't like is biochemistry, since the teachers are somewhat rude

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is okay okay. the factulties are mostly tamil speaking, approaching them is not the hardest part but communicating is. some factuties are straight up rude while others are kind. the exams for mid terms are easy... endsem is preety hard. they have multiple regulations for the exams itself. the girls are not supposed to mingle with guys within the campus at all in general normal days. along with that during exams, girls have the pin their shawls up in the tops. they will check for everything. they are not allowed to use the washrooms during the exams even though the exams ae in the mornig and typically is very cold out there.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year of college the whole fees for hostel and college is 3.03 lakhs. from the 2nd year onwards, the fees has been increased to 2.93 lakhs just for the college fees. the hostel fees accounts for an additional 1.6 lakhs. the admission fees is 10 thousands only after whivh the the seat could be recieved. there is special reservation for students for sc/st background. my batchmate had a bit more difference in fees since she was from a different community. for management seats, the fees are very very high.

Campus Life

Overall campus life was fair as it is at the end of the city there aren't many things availabe but you can survive. There are many fests and events in this college the biggest event is Anubhuti that is the annual event of the college, There are around 10+ clubs for each intersts of the students. The clubs organise events almost every week. There are around 3 libraries and 1 central library with well equipped facilities and many books available. Classrooms are average and don't provide any comfort. Sports is very much promoted in the college by the sports club, many sports like volleyball, tennis etc are availabe. There are many social groups in the college and fast food hotspots. These things impact student's life and they help them grow mentally and physcially.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid over 38000 thousand in course fee, there were no scholarships availabe and the available scholarships never reached my bank account, if you score more than 9-CGPA you might get a fee discount of Rs.3000, there are a very few options for scholarship available in this college. My batch mates paid Rs.2000 in fines that were never explained. They always charge higher than the listed fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees per semester (b pharma) is around 38500 rupees along with 1000 rupees for main examination form. So it's around 40000 per semester. Yearly, it's around 80,000 rupees because it takes an year to complete two semesters. It takes 4 years to complete b pharm degree hence, it costs 3 lakh 20 thousand for 8 semesters. Students in d pharmacy have to pay around 50,000 for each year. Their course only lasts for 2 years. The registration fees for my course costs 300 rupees. Everything else(lab fees, admission fess, tuition fess, etc) is included in the 38,500 rupees they ask for during the admission. There are scholarships available for sc/st and obc students that gives them around 35,000 rupees. All my other batchmates pay the same fees( all castes)

Course Curriculum Overview

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.
