The faculty to student ratio varies with department. In our year we have 70 students and 5 professors. The faculty is easily approachable and always willing to clarify our issues, both inside and outside the class. There are class tests, midsems and endsems. The exams are not easy, and one has to study hard to pass. That, in turn, becomes a motivator for students. The curriculum, especially after the 2023 revamp, is extremely relevant to higher studies and industrial applications. Many people have gotten into prestigious institutes of great academic repute and industries after passing out from here , one of the best faculty members is professor Anindya Dey, himself an author of multiple books on the repeated publication houses.
The campus is in close proximity to two metro stations and the American society hence people find a lot of things to do around the college period our Central library has 91000 books and thereare hree such libraries. There is a mediate of societies in St Xavier's College Kolkata. I myself from a part of two societies The Xaverian Academy of Dance and Music and the debate society.

The faculty to student ratio currently is 1:17. Me, being the class representative, feel that the faculty is quite approachable but for other students I feel that the Class representative is the only bridge that clears any important communication. Despite that I feel that the faculty is approachable to other students as well. The student faculty relationship is good. I liked Deepa maam and Sumit sir because of their encouraging and motivating teaching style. They made certain difficult chapters so easy for me to learn. They are supportive and helpful. I also liked Neha maam and the way she teaches, using live examples from websites while teaching which attracts our attention towards the real life application of the concepts being taught. I wont say disliked but there is a faculty which I feel needs a little improvement. His name is Girish Phatak sir. His subject knowledge and intellect is commendable but more than half of the batch faces difficulty in understanding few concepts from him. The exam pattern include mid term and end term. The exams are moderate to difficult. Whole batch cleared the mid terms.
If I am to talk about the campus life, I would never fall short of words because the campus life here is the best experience that one could have. The socializing aspect here is full of opportunities not only from my college but from other symbiosis colleges too. The club involvement is rigorous. There are events coming up and lined up one after the other and students do participate in them actively. The infrastructure is top notch. we have gym, badminton court, basketball court, football round, swimming pool, snooker and table tennis facilities available everyday here.

The course is highly relevent as they are niche fnance subjects and is highly applicable for finance professional
Choosing My College : I choose college of engineering Chengannur after considering top options across Kerala. My decision was based on reputation, affordability and strong placements stats. Especially in Computer science stream. The college has approachable faculty, lively campus culture and transparent admission process through KEAM, made it a logical option for me over others, where cutoffs were steeper or fees far higher. Admisson Experiemce : The admission process was straight forward beaded solely on KEAM entrance rank followed by centralized counseling with clear cutoff for each branch. I found the process efiicinent and less stressful, since there were no group discussions or interviews. Fees Structure and Scholarships: Yearly tution fee is around ?40000 for merit seats higher for management or NRI. Hostel costs ?39000 to ?42000 per year. Fees remain largely stable and multiple scholarships exist; Merit-cum-need AICTE , alumni, star and central schemes. Ensuring even first generation learners can focus on studies Since I got int this college under Management quota I am and will be paying a sum of ?75000 This amount typically covers most compulsory charges: Admission fee, registration fee, development fee and essential lab fee. At the beginning of first year the eus a one time caution deposit ?2000, other small charges like if card or university registration may apply. SC, ST students are exempted from tution fee and pay only small amount for registration/admission, thanks to state scholarships! While considering my batchmeates, our class is extremely diverse with those paying merit fees to even NRI fee.
The curriculum that I'm right now studying a new one , which is the 2024 schemes diffenrt from every other scheme, consisting of new subjects and even from higher semesters, the subjects seems to be unnecessary or boring, yet there are intersting ones, the curriculum remains the same until first year , after that each department enters intro heir core subjects and labs, yet following the same the 2024 scheme , the changes I felt necessary were the ones which included shifting subjects from semester five to semester three, and addition of new subjects, I find it extremely useful if APJ university had taken the liberty to add career guiding subjects and training along with the curriculum rather than providing it outside the curriculum

The faculty to student ratio is about 1:20, with about 9 to 10 core faculty members and the batch size to be about 150. The faculty is a blend of industry experts and and qualified academecians. Our director - Dr. Neha Parashar is known for her innovative teaching in the BFSI sector and is an excellent professor and has expertise in the subject matter that she teaches. Dr. Deepa Pillai, our Deputy Director is also an excellent professor and has an immense amount of experience in teaching finance over the last 20-25 years. We have many other professors who come from the industry with first hand experience in working in the BFSI sector along with successful and qualified acamedicians who have immense theoritical experience and help us understand the topics with absolute conceptual clarity. We have a Mid-term exam and an End-term exam for the evalutaion purposes. The course curriculum is highly relevant and fairly comprehensive. It helps understand the current needs of the BFSI sector and is focused to make the students industry ready for the BFSI sector itself. Case study analysis, simulations and the Bloomberg terminal training helps students understand what is required by the corporate world and how we need to upskill ourselves on a regular basis to stay relevant in the market. The guest lectures and industry exposure from the industry experts that are called on campue also help us understand and learn alot about the BFSI sector.
I am currently in the my first of this course and my total fees for this course is around 23 lacs. The hostel fees from that is 143000 per annum. The year wise fees that I will be paying would be around 11.5 lacs. I believe my seniors are paying 10.5 lacs for the same. To sum it up: - Admission and exam fees = 3300 (differs student to student on number of attempts they want to give for SNAP exam and number of insititutes to choose from. Each institute charge was 1000 Rs. - SNAP fees- Around 2200 Rs. While I have not taken student loan but many of my batchmates are funding their MBA through student loan facility.
I personally wanted to persue Finance only. Subjects or topics in the curriculum that influenced my decison were financial management, risk management, financial services, derivatives, stock market trading etc. The curriculum is vast and comprehensive. If one reads well it would provide good and sound knowledge on the subject matter. You can get an in-depth understanding. Areas of improvement could be in terms of application based study. There should be more case study based classes or sessions so we can associate or learn how to put our knowledge into real life case scenarios
The total fee at SSBF is not limited to tution alone. It includes multiple components like the library access, infrastructure , refundable deposits, mess charges , hostel charges , medical insurance and taxes. For the batch 2025-27 the first year academic fee is set at 11,77,000 where the students may pay 20,000 as a security deposit to the institute and 20,000 as security deposit to the hostel which are refundable. The hostel fees are 1,43,000 per year and the mess fees are 52,000. Thus the overall cost of two year MBA programme comes too 21,00,000. Students who are opting for international categorization like dual degrees should be prepared for higher expenses. However due to inflation the fees increase. Fortunately SSBF offers a number of scholarships and financial aid oppurtunities to offset these rising costs. There are academic merit benefits and apart from that there are benefits offered from symbiosis international univeristy too. When comparing SSBF'S fees with other institutes the numbers are quiet moderate and offers a reasonable return on investment thanks to the strong placement outcomes. The key takeaway for aspirants is to plan finances well in advance , aim for academic excellence.
The faculty to student ratio 1:20. The director mam and deputy director mam are really good and approchable. They are really helpful and are doing great for the college. The other faculty members are also amazing and well trained

The course structure is followed with various case studies and practical assignments which make sure that the students learn how to put the theoretical knowledge to use in practical aspects. The assignments consist of extracting data form bloomberg and using them for financial modelling The exams take place mid semester and at the end of the semester.
The faculty of the course is very knowledgeable, a classroom consist of 60-70 students on an average which makes sure that every student gets enough attention and is able to grasp the concepts easily. The examinations take place in the form of mid sems and end sems, the difficulty level is medium where the concepts are tested and practical applicability of concepts using case studies is tested.
I want to get admission in power electronics because the scope and placement is good in this field and also good in future perspective of demand in electrical field and i learn about my field at every lacture and our co ordinator also motivate us that encourage me to study about real world application of power electronics branch and college also provide industial visit to see future in our branch and i liked it. In other side i dont like the teaching method of my faculty they used to teach with book and pen rather then practical. And my college conduct exam at first internal midsem exam which is conducted after 2 or month after new sem and then after 2 months later gtu conducted university final exam so exam frequency is appropriate for us but still i found some difficulty at some subject because that subject is totally new for me but it is okay

The facfulty members at St. Xavier's College are all very highly qualified and are able to do their jobs well. They are approachable and are able to tackle all doubts and queries brought to them with ease. At the college, every semester, students are required to appear for a mid-semester examination (also known as Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA)). These are 40 mark papers which are later brought down to 20 when calculating the students' final grade. They are also required to appear for a 70 mark end-semester examination which is carried forward as it is towards their final grade. The students also appear for a 5 mark assignment whose marks are added up for the final grade and the remaining 5 marks are awarded to the students on the basis of their attendance and regularity in class.
Economics is an extremely modern and relevant subject in today's day and age. In my opinion, it is one of those subjects that everyone should have a basic understanding of to be able to understad what is going on in the world around them. The curriculum at St. Xavier's College Kolkata aligns with my views. The curriculum is extremely thorough and covers important micro and macro concepts which prepare the students well for an overall understanding of the subject in the real world. Examinations are conducted twice each semester which holds up well with the course material as it allows us to have time to study whatever has been taught without being rushed into it.
Each semester, I pay a fees of 54,300 (tuition) and 1,100 (mis. fees). Fees may vary if it is a Honours degree or a general degree. Honours tend to cost more due to the additional 1 year of course which is added. Fees is divided into installments payable at different intervals per semester
The faculty to student ratio is very good, 45:1. The faculties are also very involved and actually care about the all round development of the students. There are plenty of exams organised at close intervals so as to make sure the students actually learn.
SRCC the best commerce college in India is best because it has everything and our of those one thing which stands out is indeed the fees. 33250 is fees for B.Com Hons and that is what I had to pay as I am from general category. Otherwise SC/ST students get 15% scholarship and that's 3-4k less than the actual fees is what they have to pay.
The Graffitis on the wall and especially the red one is my favourite. 1st floor library has Narendra Modi's message carved which he gave to the students when he came to our college as a chief guest. So, our campus has produced legends and it is a legendary campus and also has a legendary fest in Crossroads.
The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.
The faculty-to-student ratio is average, nor so high neither too low. The faculties are approachable for the students but for academic and non academic doubts. There are faculties like PKG sir , Hemanta Medhi sir , Somnath Paul Sir who are liked by me for there good behaviour and funny nature. The for me is Hemanta Medhi sir I don't like the HOD of my department because of his attitude. There are 2 sessionol tests and 2 exams(mid and end sem) in one semester. The exams are neither too easy nor too tough, are moderate. At an average, only 3-4 students fail in some subjects and 1 or 2 fail in whole exam. The course curriculum is relevant.
Parichay is the annual fest which usually happens in mid November Library is huge and filled with course related books Every class is well spaced and has a projector Sports is there in rnsit and every month there is something to participate in
For comedk students it's 3,01,100 + more 27 thousand in time of registration for skill fees My course is aiml and for 3 lakh I think it's little costly but placement of this college are way above than any other private college or t3 collge
For B.Com (Hons) the fees is set at 33250 a year. Luckily it's paid in parts and our college supports students with avrious scholarships programs too. Caste based scholarships are set by the university and even government but apart from that many private scholarships are also available at our university.
Again it's financial companies as those involved in managing portfolios like Bain Capital, Nomura and others are the companies where we get placed as intenrs through college. Proper rounds are held before getting selected and stipend offered is as good as otherwise colleges placements.
Hey, my course name is bachelor of management studies(BMS). my yearly fees adds up around 19000 each year with a slight increase in the last year. Most of the fees goes to the devlopment and wellness fund. The tuition fees is around 5000. The total annual fees varies for categories. Like for general is 19000, for sc st it's around 8000-10000. For orphans they just have to pay 20 for each year. There is no scholarship or placements in du sol but they are creating opportunities.
The faculty to student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are good in teaching and socializing, helps students not get awkward while speaking up. For me it's mrs. barkha jamwal who is assistant professor. Also to mention mr vishal sharma sir. There are exams each semester consistiong of 7 subjects. Almost every student clears the semester exams and those who can't clear, reattempts it in the the next semester
