Programs, Campus and Residence

  • 216 undergraduate, 509 masters and six doctoral degree programs are offered at the University College London under 11 faculties and departments. UCL’s top ranked subjects are: Arts & Humanities, Architecture, Law, Life Sciences, etc.
  • On-campus, accommodation facility for students are offered by UCL. There are 26 residence halls that can accommodate up to 6000 students. There are off-campus residence providers as well.

University College London Admissions

Undergraduate Admissions:

  • Apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) online application form.
  • Complete the application and submit along with it the application fee, transcripts, reference letters and SAT/ACT scores.
  • For Law and Medical applicants, LNAT (National Admissions Test for Law) and BMAT (Biomedical Admissions Test) scores must be submitted.
  • Written work for assessment, if required by the department.
  • If applications are selected, applicants may be called for interview.
  • Application deadline: 15 October, 6.00 p.m. UTC.

Postgraduate Admissions:

  • Apply through UCAS Postgraduate Application, worth £ 75.
  • Requirements: Three academic references, transcripts, funding letter, CV/Resume, written work for assessment.
  • Research proposal, without plagiarism.
  • English Competency evidence.
  • Application deadlines: 11 January, 25 January.

Financial Aid

International students are offered various scholarships by the University College London. There are around 75 scholarships that are offered. Some of these funds, grants and scholarships are:

  • Trudeau Foundation Scholarship- £60,000 is awarded, to Overseas graduate research students.*
  • Malcolm Grant Postgraduate Scholarship- £25,000 is awarded, to UK, Overseas and EU students.
  • Ardalan Scholarship - £18,750 is awarded.
  • Fulbright: UCL Award- £14,900 stipend is awarded, to Overseas students.
  • CONACyT Fee Partnership- 30% tuition fee contribution, for Overseas students.
