NSUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As an effect of the corona lockdown, our first semester is of only 3.5 months every sem we have at least 2 ct, 1 mid sem,1 end sem, an internal practical exam, and a final practical exam. Teacher's are mostly teaching with pdf which is already shared in Google classroom, so no one shows interest in the class. Some teachers are cool, some are also very dedicated for study.

Students are eligible for placements after 6 semester. There are more than 170 companies that visit the campus and include tech giants like google, microsoft, amazon, adobe etc. and offer an avg package of about 15 lpa and highest packages going upto 60+lpa. Percentage of students getting varies from branch to branch, but its quite decent for the upper branches. I personally plan to go for MBA after my degree.

The course curriculum is much more updated now as compared to the past but still requires improvement. I have 5 subjects in 1 sem i.e. Maths, Computer Programming, EEE, BME, Physics. If I compare my college to a few colleges i.e. IIIT Delhi, DTU and even IIT Delhi, IIIT Delhi have a much-upgraded curriculum and their faculty is so good at teaching.

In the last year of study, the student gets placed. Big companies like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys texas instruments etc come for on-campus placement. The Lowest package was 6 lakhs and the highest package was of 1 CPA. 100% of students get placed in companies.

Starting from the 7th semester, Companies start visiting the campus for the placement season. Since NSUT is one of the best engineering colleges in Delhi, almost all top MNCs visit for campus placement with the highest international package of 1.08 cr. More than 95% of students from the CSE department get placed. I will personally take the placement after getting my degree.

The branch which I have is itns ( information technology with network security) the main reason why I chose this course is because of my interest in the coding world and to understand the proper working of this tech world and its wonderful workings . As of now during the first year each faculty teaches only your section(itns ) strength 70 and similarly, all other branches have strength around 100( faculty ratio. On average 1:90) the faculties are all PhDs and the hods have even are having proper research background in the 1 st semester one two exams are taken mid-sem ( generally 2/5 units) and end-sem (full syllabus). During the classes. Class tests are included. Your Jee preparation along with proper practice is enough to excel in the exams

Placement to university is great The highest Placement is 1.06 cr. The minimum package is 8 lakh. The average package is 15 lakh. The median package is 18 lakh. Top companies visit our campus and there are gr8 opportunities available.

Faculty is quite good and well educated and there are almost 66 students in a class. Curriculum is updated and faculty members used new techniques for teaching purposes. For exam there is 2 class test , mid sem and end sem every semester

From 7 semester the students are eligible to sit in placement season . Our college offers on campus placement. There are big tech giants and big consulting firm that come in placement season We also have big core companies for branches like mechanical engineering and electronic engineering Around 80 percent students are already placed in companies

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. From the big MNCs to start-ups every company visits NSIT because of its quality of students and location. Google, Microsoft, Zomato, Factbook, Ola, etc. The highest package of our university is 1.4 crore and the average package offered is about 1000000 per year. Nearly every student gets a placement in NSIT. About 95% of students get a placement. My goal is to work as a software developer after getting my degree.
