- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- I like the coding culture of our College. Seniors cracked big companies like Amazon , Uber etc.
- I like the prime location of our College , which is in the main City,so that we don't need to worry about anything .
- I like the fests organised by college because students only organised these large fests in our College and also celeb night.
Dislikes
- The food quality of our hostel mess is poor and needs a lot of improvement.
- Our College is very crowded because of a lot of branches .
Placement Experience:
Placement of our College is very good and it competes with top NITs and IITs . Apart from Non core placements , core placements are also very well. Average package of or college is about 10 lpa. And cor branches like CSE or IT , it is 17 lpa. It is a quite decent package.
Companies that visits our College are Adobe, DE Shaw, Dboi, Sprinkler , Delloit etc are for noncore . And for core companies like Vedanta, Schlumburger, JSW etc are major recruiters.
About more than 82% of people get placed who sits in placements.
My plan is to work as a Software Developer after getting a degree.

- College life is good here and is very entertaining

- Night Library is also not available and library is not big enough
Placement Experience:
Every Nit gave placements to students. Here 6th to 8th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Here micro shoft, Adobe, infocis, Google and other companies are visiting to having jobs for students. Average package is 12 lacks for ECE students.

- Well satisfied in chosen course and I'm happy with chemical engineering.Learnig the process of how the daily products are being made and it is really exciting to know about how industries work.chemical engineering where we don't have any stress regar

- The main issue we are facing here is the hostel facility. There were only few seats in campus hostel.
- Nothing big but there is a problem with the food that is provided.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are provided from the institute.After 6th semester we are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as ONGC,HPCL,Aditya Birla, vedanta,Barath gas and many more.100% percent placements are provided.There is an average package of 8LPA.Different companies have different eligibility of percentage.

- All the people form different places come here. So we can improve our communication skills and diverse among them. This is quite impressive here.
- Placements are good. Good packages are coming.
- Examination and curriculum is good. Lectures teach well.
Dislikes
- Library is too small. During exams we find no place.
- We only one ground. Sports facilities are not that good.
- The infrastructure of the campus is poor.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like Infosys maruti come to recruit students. Hardly 70 percent of students get recruitments. Highest package is one crore and average package is 12 lakhs. I wanted to pursue my MBA .

- The education here is stress free and the in this scheme we can select our required subject based on credit system.
- Here there a lot clubs and commitees which we can select based on our intrest and the work will be very much interesting
- There is good placement record for all branches.
Dislikes
- There are no sufficient hostel facilities for the students which is a great inconvenience
- The food in the hostels is very good you will face difficulty if you are chossy about your food
Course Curriculum Overview:
Chemical engineering circulam usually gives outlook about different industries and about the operations . The circulam consists of various subjects which prepares an individual for working in industries. There will be labs also which gives practical experience. In a semester there will be mid sem and an end sem exam along with practicals included. The exams will be moderate to hard basing in the subject. The circulam is mostly stress free which a greater outlook to industrial world

Placement is overall good and if anybody no placed he/she go for higher studies
from 8th semester onwards student are eligible for placement
companies visited zs associates,pharmaace,cisco,L&T,accenture,aditya birla group, relience, phonepay and many more
highest package - 30 lakh for software developer
average package - 15 lakh for data analyst
about 70% student got placed
my plans after degree is to improve my tech skills for higher tech post

- First of all the faculty who teaches us very well
- Secondly the oppurtunities provided by the college for the students placement
- Extra curricular activities are also done frequently to not to get bored
Dislikes
- Firstly the hostel facility which will be available to only few students
- Secondly the ground condition which will not good if rainy season comes.
- Lastly the food available outside the college. If there is no mess for one day it wi be very costly.
Placement Experience:
Placements in the college are very good. Student from the sixth sem will be eligible to sit in the campus placements. There are so many companies which offer the job such as microsoft, cognigent, infosys etc. Each comoany offers atleast 10jobs. Some companied offer 50 jobs also according to thier requirement. 80percent of the students will be placed before completing their degree. My plans after completing the degree are firstly to get a job and to do MTECH by writing gate exam as I am very interested in core.

- Having clubs and committees.helpful for overall development.
- It has the most of the mechanical machinery which I like including CNC.
- I also like the Library system of the college.
Dislikes
- It has to improve the Ground and gym facilities.
- Hostel infrastructure is not upto the expected range .
- Improve some of the timings of hostel and stores insides the campus.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester
Ford, caterpillar,jsw, Deloitte,BPCL, reliance etc.
And 90%of the 4th years have been placed till now and there's still 2 months left for finishing of the placement time.
Highest is in my mechanical branch as far as I know it is 20LPA and lowest 6.5LPA.
Almost 97% are placed.
I'm planning to continue my studies maybe in abroad.

- I like the mostly the culture in this city I have learnt new things for this place also I learnt to speak hindi fluently.
- The professor was very good that their motive was the students should learn something from them by the end of the class
- I like the hardworking of my beloved friends for the placements and the coding culture was good in this campus
Dislikes
- The lack of hostel was the main reason I didn't like the campus at sometimes
- Grounds for the sports was less in this campus that too I didn't like
- The campus life was tough i would say for me , because I have to focus on studies i.e, like cpa and placement aslo I am a good explorer that I want explore the state
Placement Experience:
The placement in the campus was good ,but the main companies who gives the PPO will come at the intership time and recruit less members and when we come to placements the average package was 15 lpa and the highest package was 65 lpa account to last year and year by year the Highest package was increased this year I would say 3 of our seniors got selected for microsoft and 1cr package.
So based on my package I will go for further tudies in abroad.In cse almost 100 percentage placement was there according to previous stats.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
