- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Campus size - Campus is small so you have to walk less to go were ever you want to go. As this is feature have some pros and cons in itself.
- Faculty - Many experienced faculty is present in the campus, and leaving some arrogent ones the are very helpful in every aspect.
- Placement - Placement is above then average in NIT raipur which is very good.
Dislikes
- Campus size - As campus size is small so every student dont get the hostel facility in the campus .
- Course - Many unwanted courses are taught in the college, which creates burden in student life,
- Faculty - Some are very arrogant faculties, and they scold very badly.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum of the cource is very interesting and very precics to the morder requirment.As its a Institute of National importance so the curriculum is very good. Still there are many improvment required in this curriculum such as as in first year there are many subects which are irrelevent for our branch and for our interests. As many subjects such as food web food chains elc is not very useful for our branch and its important to study it. Which is not required.The frequency of examination is twice in a sem and four time in a year. For odd sem exams usually occurs in october for mid sem and end sem occurs in month of december.and for even semester examination of mid semenster occurs in the month of march and end semester occurs in may.

- Campus infrastructure, building quality.
- Campus security, no cctv cameras. I didn't found wny
- Not focusing on development through the curriculum.
Placement Experience:
After completing the course in biomedical engineering there are not any chances of placement in the core but non-core companies recruit for data analysis or cs or IT field. Apart from college placements we can grow even more in entrepreneurship field, college id much supportive for that by having incubation centre, entrepreneurship cell and innovation cell. College also provide funds and grants for our own projects

- I dislike the infrastructure of NIT Raipur.
Placement Experience:
In NIT Raipur, the students can sit for campus placements from fourth year of the course. Many companies like Tata, Wipro, Capegemini, Infosys, Adobe, L&T, Info Edge and Deloitte. The average package offered to students in 2022 was 10.12 LPA.

- The best thing is that the college is NIT
- The hostel life is outstanding and my all friends are from different states so I got to know about their culture
- The placements are very very good and average package is also good
Dislikes
- The campus of the college is not good as I expected
- In sports event 1st year students do not participate
- There is no place for ragging so it is difficult to bond with senior
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. In our college various companies visited such as Google, Microsoft, Adobe,Microsoft and Vedanta. Almost 90 to 95 percent students get placed every year. This year lots of students get 55 lpa and highest package is 62 lpa.

- Placement opportunities both off campus and on campus are good.
Dislikes
- Faculty here is not good and need upgrade , and also should assign more permanent faculties.
- Small Campus, not enough space for sports like kabaddi and swimming pool.
- Infrastructure is also old and all departments are combined in a single building
Placement Experience:
from 5-6th semester students become eligible to get internship which can land them a PPO offer. Companies like Adobe , Goldman Sachs , JSW , TCS , Cognitive, MIcrosoft etc companies come including on and off campus.Also 70-80 students from batch of 100 got placed from metallurgy branch. HIghesh package received this year was 62 lakhs INR and average was 9-10 LPA.from every bracnch almost 60-70% students were placed. I have plans of doing MTECH after getting the degree.

- Campus is small but really well maintained.
- Here clubs and committees are really very good.
- Seniors are very kind and helpful towards juniors.
Dislikes
- Campus is small, it could have been better if it would be a little bigger.
- Hostel facilities are needed to be improved.
- Mess food should be improved. Non veg should be served in girls hostel.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement are very good here. Students are eligible for campus placement in their 6th or 6th semester. The highest package that I have heard of is 55 lakh per annum from Adobe company. From last year data about 92% students got placements from IT crowd.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement is provided by the college and there is a lot of big tech and core companies came to college.
The average package of our branch is 10 lakh which is very nice as compared to other colleges

- Hostel unavailability for all.CPI based system is there
- Sports facilities are average.But sports complex is being built
- In time for 1st. Years is only 9 pm which sucks sometime.
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty decent.highest package is 55 lpa for many branches like CS IT and even chemical (offcampus).Many students are getting pre placement opportunities and getting internships too.overall 75% students are getting placed.

- The behaviour of faculties are good here .
- If a student is near to pass but fails . then teacher pass them by giving marks in TA.
- the Central Garden. the garden is full of flowers .
Dislikes
- the campus is not clean . dogs are roaming around , and they may bite somtimes in the college campus.
- the classrooms are not good as a national college should have standar benches and boards.
- the hostel facility is not good. all students mut get hostel . but only fwe people get college.
Placement Experience:
Placements is good in our college . if I do not get on campus placement then there is a probabity that I can get pacement off campus. either A student can do his own startup . the student here become for hardworking and desciplined after studing here.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very nicely designed in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness as it most contains the content or topic which are connected to daliy life things and would be useful in future. The difficulty level of the exam is on the easier side

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
