DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements have been down only a slight bit from previous years due to the circumstances in today's time. But they are as always good. Many large companies offer positions in our college including FAANG and other top class firms. The percentage of placement is around 80% and the average package goes from 7 to 10 lpa.

Training and placement cell of our college is really active and provide really great opportunities to the students. Avg placement of circuital branch is over 14 lpa and over all average it is around 8 to 10 lpa.

from 3rd year starting students are eligible to sit in internships for companies. and in 4th year starting students are eligible to sit in the placements and most of the students got placed by the end of there 4th year. in tech branches95% students got selected.

After six semester .students is eligible for campus placement . Companies visited for campus placement are: Google, Microsoft,Apple, Amazon etc. in 2023 highest package is 82 LPA (domestic) by Atlassian.there are more than 325 companies are visited and more than 2050 made offer .and more than 1900 students get placed . Approx 80 to 90% students

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Flipkart, Amazon, and Facebook are known to visit reputed engineering institutions for recruitment. However, the specific eligibility criteria and the semesters in which these companies visit can vary. Students in their final semesters or those about to graduate are often the primary focus of such recruitment processes

In my course the average package last year was around 9 lpa and for the overall subject, it is 15-16 lpa. 85-90 % of student gets placed. The minimum cgpa criteria for sitting in placement is 7.5. You can earn a good package if you are hardworking.

In my class, the student-faculty ratio is 60:1, which is pretty good and allows the faculty to pay more attention to each student. The faculties are highly qualified and have the ability to become great mentors. The faculty has been very polite and friendly and always open to solving the doubts of students. The midsem exams started the month after the classes started.

Curriculum of DTU is as same as iit . It is updated with time. Recently according nep( new education policy) sec ( skill enchcement subject) introduced in each branch For ep (engineering physics) it is blend of electronics as a major degree and applied physics and if you are research oriented this course suit well for you. Faculty to student ratio is decent i.e 1:32 Coming to faculty qualification they are qualified enough most of them have done their PhD from reputed institution like iits and iisers Dtu is relaxed in exam generally each sem has mid and end sem at gap of 2-3 months and study weekly can easily help you to maintain good cg

Placement statistics are good, many students get placement from good companies. You can find the number of companies and offers made from dtu site. The highest package was around 1.24 cr last year (2022). The average package varies from branch to branch.

Students are eligible for campus placements around the end of the sixth semester. As of the recession, companies are visiting the campus, but the offers are not as exciting as they used to be. Also, getting an offer is not easy either this year. Around 25% of students are placed till now.
