Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because, being from a commerce background B.Com is the best that we can do at first and then doing B.Com from KIIT can boost my overall career growth. The faculty-to-student ratio in our college was 1:55.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is divided into 6 semesters i.e. 3 years and the reason for me to choose this course was that I always wanted to do B.Com and the faculty-to-student ratio in our college is 1:55, and the faculties are from good colleges. exams happen in every 6 months

- The campus is very beautiful and big, great to explore
- There are a lot of amenities near the campus
- There are a lot of societies to join to pursue your interests
Dislikes
- The student quantity is alarmingly high, there are students in really high quantity and you will have to compete hard for good placements
- The hostel food is not the greatest, and some amenities like the wifi is unreliable and occasionally stops working.
- Due to being in Odisha, communication can be a problem with some teachers or locals.

Placement Experience:
students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year onwards
several MNCs have visited the campus although it's very select few who get placement
Highest placement was around 52 lpa last year if I recall correctly, but do keep in mind that's just one or two students, most placements aren't good and the college will inflate the average placement package.
but one good thing is that you have a guaranteed placement, albeit you don't know whether the placement is good or not.
I personally plan on pursuing a master's degree after btech.

- There is a GYM facility for the students.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not good and can improved.
- There is no separate cricket ground for the ksom students.
- The bathrooms are not cleaned properly.
Placement Experience:
From the 3rd semester, after completing the summer internship, students are eligible for campus placement.
Companies like KPMG, DELOITTE, E&Y, PWC, NESTLE, ITC, TATA etc. are coming for the campus placement.

- The infrastructure of the college is just awesome
- the events that takes place is fun and joyful
- the teaching faculties are suppotive and good
Dislikes
- The mess food in the college is not at all good
- there is no playground inside the campus
- there is no separate indoor play are for girls in the college
Placement Experience:
The placements in our college are pretty good by looking at the past data and the records almost all the students get placed from the college. From the 3rd sem, our placement starts. The companies are HDFC, ITC, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:
It was because I had a keen interest in cse. Great faculty Friendly and highly educated teachers. Teachers are from IIT or are doing PHD. We are having frequent class interaction courses and a great experience. Exams are at a good level.

- The college library is really something you will fall in love with
- The graden library and the sculpture park in the college is really cozy
- the platform provided by KSOM for learning is really good
Dislikes
- There are hardly any changes in the menu of the mess
- the quality of the food served is another area of concern
- The college can provide us with better placements and internship
Placement Experience:
The placements at our college are decent enough in terms of packages but the job offered is mostly for sales. 140 companies are coming every year to hire students with different domains and the average salary is somewhere around 7,00,000.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
