- All the professors are PHD qualified and teach excellently

- The college has monkeys around the campus
- Sometimes the cultural events conducted are less
- Rules of government aided streams are but stricter than self financed
Course Curriculum Overview:
I personally chose this course as I wanted to join the armed forces. Anyone who is interested in joining the civil services, uniformed service or any competitive exams can choose this course as most of the syllabus covers those topics

- Good facilities and laboratory classes made.
- Good atmosphere and good ambience around the campus
- Good faculties and there teaching methods.
Dislikes
- No cleanliness in bathroom and toliets in campus.
- Class rooms are not well spaced.And full of students.
- The many departments is situated so far from the main block.
Placement Experience:
From 3 rd semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements.The biotech companies visited in our college and they offers 10 vacancies.95% of students are getted the placement in our college.After degree I go for masters then research.

Placement are offered on the final semester in which many big companies and MNC come in for campus interview and provide the package between starting from 200000 to 600000 are offered for the students and trained by the respective faculties

Placement Experience:
From fiinal year or 5th semester students are eligible for placement for job in reputed companies, 75 percentage of students will get placements and my plan is getting job in reputed companies in good package. Minimum package of company per month is 17000 maximum 22000 are given.

- There are a lot of cultural activities that students can be a part of
- Various external activity clubs that we can become a member of
- Library facilities which have an array of Fication books and hundreds of course books.
Dislikes
- The restrooms for women are not well maintained
- Water facilities are sometimes irregular
Placement Experience:
During our 5th semester we become eligible for placement if we do not have any sganding arrears.
The highest package that has been offered was 9 Lakhs per annum. But there was a criteria for 80 percentage of marks for this company

- REGARDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE, IT AN AGE OLD BUILDING,IT HOLDS AN LEGACY. IT HAS ALL THE BASIC AND ADVANCED AMENITIES IN IT .
- IN OUR DEPT. WE HAVE ONE PROFESSOR AS HOD AND ONE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. APRT FROM THAT WE HAVE 6 GUEST LECTURERS AND 10 RESEARCH SCHLOARS.SO NO DOUBT IN THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION. ALLA OF THE GUEST ARE PH.D DEGREE HOLDERS, BUT EASILY ACCESSILBE.
- WE HAVE A SEPARATE LIBRARY IN THE DEPARTMENT APART FROM THE MADRAS UNIVERSITY LIBRARY. WE HAVE AROUNG 4K BOOKS IN DEPARTMENT LIBRARY AND AROUND 3 - 4 LAKH BOOK IN MAIN LIBRARY.

- ONE THING ABOUT THE INFRASTRUCTURE IS THERE ARE OLD, AND IN SOME PLACES IT WEAK.
- THE WE HAVE FIVE CAMPUSES AT CHEPAUK, MARINA, TARAMANI,CHETPET AND IN GUINY. EVERY OTHER CAMPUS IS FAR AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER.
- THERE IS NO VICE CHANCELLOR APPOINTED TO THE UNIVERSITY FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS, THAT HIT HARD IN UNIVERSIT'S DEVELOPMENT.

Placement Experience:
YES, WE DO HAVE A SPECIAL FOR PLACEMENT AND OFFERS TO HIGHER STUDIES, EVEN IN ABROAD.STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED FOR THE PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES EVEN FROM THE FIRST SEMESTER.
THEY HAVE SIGNES MANY MOUs WITH VARIUOS COMPANIES IN AND OUT INDIA.
MANY COMPANIES LIKE ACCENTURE, TCS, HYUNDAI, SUTHELANDS, ZOHO, AMAZON, TACH MAHENDRA ARE SOME REGULAR COMPANIES THAT HAVE HIRED STURDENTS THRIUGH PLACEMENTS AND INTERVIEWS.
NOW, I HAVE CLEARED UGC NET IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, AND WILLING TO WORK IN THE TEACHING FIELD, AS A GUEST LECTURER. AND I'LL ASLO KEEP GIVING MY ATTEMPTS IN UPSC, UNTILL I GET INTO SERVICE.

- The quality of the education provided by the professors were really good. They use smart boards for theory classes which helps us understand the concepts well.
- The infrastructure and campus amenities are awesome
- The canteen and cafe inside the college works as refreshing place for students. The pond inside the college makes us feel peace.
Dislikes
- Students are not allowed to sit near garden. The chairs in the garden are kept as show but not allowed to sit unless we wait for some staff or principal
- The attendance can be made biometric to avoid proxies
- Students can come inside the college and go outside the college whenever they want to
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible to attend placements from the final year. Bcom students are eligible from there 5th semester (that is final year 1st semester). Mcom students are eligible from there 3rd semester (that is final year 1st semester). There were plenty of companies that comes for placement. I'll share few of them that I got during my Mcom.
1. Deloitte. This is one of the Big 4 company. They offered 6lpa along with 1 lakh as joining bonus.
2. Ernst & young. They offered 4.4lpa.
3. Survey Sparrow. They offered 8 Lpa which is 80% fixed and 20% variable.
There were also companies like Small finance Bank, Cognizant, Congruent Solutions, RR Donnelley, Sanmar, Mr. Cooper, etc
Out of 46 almost 20 of my classmates got placed.
I attended placement and got offer from Survey Sparrow but my goal is to start my career in banking, so I didn't accept the offer.
The maximum package is 8 Lpa and the average is 3.5 lpa or 4lpa.

- Professors are very friendly to the students
- The college timings are very good and easy to the students
- The college will consist of very neat and clean classrooms

- There are lot of cameras to watch the students
- There is a restriction to talk with boys to girls
- The canteen of the college is very poor, and it doesn't carries any food items, it contains only snacks for the students
Placement Experience:
Ofcourse our college provides placements to the students in sixth semester i.e third year.
Our placement officer is Mr. Indrajith sir. He always choose a best platform for the students career. He is very conscious in the placement process of the college.

- The high amount of fee which is asked from the students
- Not letting the students drop out and asking 3LAKSH Afro leaving the course
- Very bad HOD and office room staffs very rude and not cooperative
Placement Experience:
The placements are only given by the French institution and not by Loyola as it is and exchange program in Loyola CALLED BBA FRANCE and there is such good power and scope for this course as it is a international course and gives high level of placements and employment

The University of Madras is doing a great job as it is providing a distance degree with an affordable fee structure. If you are a working individual and do not wish to quit your job, then joining distance MBA here will be the best option.
The courses and the study materials provided are good. You need to put effort in your studies to succeed. Self study is necessary. If you desire to learn more, you could attend the classes.
After completing the exams you will receive your Provisional certificate, within 4 months you will receive the completion certificate.

The M.Sc entrance test conducted by Madras University is not very difficult and it is based on the syllabus of the qualifyng degree. The entrance test will be conducted for 100 questions (MCQs) for 2 hours. There is no negative markin system.
