VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

7th sem students get placement opportunities. Many companies recruit students. The highest package went was 1cr. A total of 12 thousand students sit for placement. I plan to get a job. But to get a good placement we need good academic performance.

From the VIT computer science students got more than one crore packages that package is depend on the branch which branch we are in. Generally all student can get placed. Some criteria is there for the placement 7.5 CGPA and no backlog is and credits was completed.

Students are eligible to sit in placements from 3rd yr 2nd sem and 4th yr 1st sem. There are around 1000 to 1200 companies coming to the college to provide job offers. Almost everyone will get placed. So around 90% of students get placement. My plan is to get a job after my graduation.

At the beginning of 1st year, they start to give training for the placements and you r eligible in the year for internships and placements here, There are a lot of companies visiting here and some of them are Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, TCS, Cognizant, X, Meta, WhatsApp, TCS, Infosys, Reliance and many the highest package in VIT is 90lpa as per my knowledge and I assure you it will be more than this 99.9 % of people here get easily placed only a handful of people who have an arrear hiostory struggle to get placed in top MNC

I am interested in developing websites so I want to continue my career in that also I like programming like solving DSA and all in my college their faculties are very supportive all are doctors who will not get a single one with no Ph.D. 100% are doctorate also exams are very strict here we need to maintain 75% of attendance to sit in the exam that all cgpe matters more.

Placements are the best highlight of my university. From 7th semester or 4th year, student is eligible for campus placements. More than 800+ are visited in college for placements like Microsoft, Amazon, EMD, Flipkart, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, and mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro. Average package is 6-7 Lakhs per annum, which varies every year. Highest package is of 1.02 crore secured by an ECE branch student. For all branches 99% placements rate, and 100% for CSE students. My plan is to crack super dream package from campus placements only as I've got no internet in higher studies.

Internship offers start coming in the 6th semester but it is very difficult to get one as very few students are lucky enough to get it. Placement season starts from the 7th semester and lasts till the half of the 8th semester. Companies with CTCs ranging from 3 lpa - 20 lpa come for recruitment. Jobs are not restricted to CSE branch, but all the branches have a good placement record. it is far better than other private colleges. I got placed in a prominent consulting company with 7.6lpa CTC.

You are eligible for placements as you enter in 4th year but you can apply for paid internship in 6th semester which could be converted to full-time later on. Almost 70% of the students are placed by November with all the major companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc. The highest package was offered by Zomato this year with 60LPA in India. The lowest package was 4 LPA while the average package you can expect is around 8-9 LPA.

VIT is known for its placements. Students are eligible to sit for placements from their fourth year. The placements for mechanical engineering are pretty bad but for CS and IT, I've heard the placements are really good and there are companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc who offer good packages. I've heard that around 95% of students get placed. But the salary packages offered need not be attractive. I plan to take part in the placements as well as look to study abroad for a higher degree.

In our college placement wise it's good .from 3 rd year everyone is able to seat for placement interview. Tcs ,Wipro, dell,Microsoft, face book and many more big companies are coming every year. More than 80 % student got placed every year rest they choose for higher studies or any government job
