Placement Experience:

The goal after completing a course is to find a job. It is good to research the job market and understand the demand for your field of study. You can also network with old students, attend career counseling and explore career opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Yes, there are on-campus placement opportunities for students. Students become eligible for placements in their 4th year and should not have any backlogs pending. There are so many placement opportunities here in VIT. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, DE Shaw, MATLAB, Siemens, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Providence, Air India, etc. visit for the placements and the number of offers varies from 1 offer to more than 100 offers in a mass recruiting company like TCS. There's a 100% placement record in VIT. The highest package in the year 2022-2023 was 1.2 Cr given by Motorq. The average package is 8-9 lakhs for CSE and overall around 7 lakhs per annum. There are 3 types of offers regular, dream, and super dream. If you get placed in Super Dream, you cannot sit for further offers. If Dream, you can only sit for super dream offers. Other options students get is to go for a master's. VIT also helps here by conducting different scholarship opportunities, and foreign exchange programs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In general computer science engineering is the best among all the branches of engineering. As looking into faculty and student ratio the exact answer can't be provided but yeah it's better. The qualifications of the faculties are good. Term exams are good and not much difficult to pass the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is better than most other colleges offering this course. Faculty members are well experienced but I personally did not like them. I chose this course because I wanted to study CS and the practical applications which this course fairly offers. There are multiple batches. Each batch consists of nearly 55 students. There are 2 term exams: CAT 1, and CAT 2. And 1 final exam. It's quite easy to pass if you are just thorough with your course subjects.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. There are numerous companies visited our college. The highest package as I know is in the year 2022 as it is 1.2cr. The percentage can't be determined. My plans are to do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as I want to do higher studies in the field and have a career in the R&D field. I got to know that the university provides enormous resources and support in research. The curriculum is specifically designed for getting ready for industry-level research and basic research. The current faculty-to-student ratio is about 1 to 20. The exam system is a bit different from other universities, there are two Continuous Assessment Tests (CAT1 and CAT2) and a final assessment test (FAT), and 3 internal tests for each subject and in each semester. The CATs are 50 marks reduced to 30 and Fat is 100 marks reduced to 40 and three internal exams are of 10 marks each. Its grading system is relative grading. In the interval of each 20-23 days, there are exams. Internals are being held in between cats and fat.

Placement Experience:

Since I'm a first year my knowledge of placements and such is limited and not very accurate, I've tried my best. Students are eligible for placement in their final year. The opportunities for biotech in India are not very appealing so most pursue a Ph.D. after the course either in India or abroad. The average package afaik is 4L p/a and the highest package to date is 12L p/a for this course. My plan is to do a semester or project abroad after meeting my credits requirement by the 4th year and then moving on to a Ph.D.

Placement Experience:

Campus places are available from 3rd year, many famous companies come for placements like IBM, Microsoft, Facebook. There are even super dream offers that offer above 40lakh and the highest package received was a whopping 1.02 crore. The average package is 7.5 lakh with a 98% placement rate. My plan after getting a degree would be to find the super dream job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

CSE is the course I always wanted to pursue. Faculty is to the student is the ratio of 100 to 1. All the faculties are highly qualified, and most of them are IIT PHD scholars. Teaching depends on person to person, some still follow old methods of teaching on board and some follow teaching on the projector via pdfs. Exams are pretty often like every month, we have consecutive 3 exams in one semester and you have to pass every one of them. They are easy to pass if you study properly. You can even pass if you study the night before but you need your concepts clear.
