VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students mostly take internships in the 3rd year and by 4th year they sit for placements. Around 95 percent of the students are placed. Even the remaining 5 percent are people going for higher studies.

3 years onwards students become eligible for placements, there are several companies coming on campus and hiring students. The highest was 1.02 crore per annum which is around 10lakhs per annum average. My plan is to pursue MBA.

I choose this course with my interest, yeah the faculty and student ratio is also good. there are almost 97% of the faculty are PhD holders. it is not that much tough to pass if you study you can easily get passed.

There were so many opportunities for placements. Basically, you will get so many emails also for internships and you can apply for them. There was a separate website also for applying for placements. Maximum all students will be placed after 4 years.

I was a computer science-interested student in my childhood. The college was fulfilling my demands to become a successful computer science data science engineer. The faculty-to-student Ratio is about 4:1. This college has 100% Ph.D. doctorate faculty. Most teachers are from IITs and NITs govt college of engineering. Two exams occur every semester i.e. Midterm and Final End term. It's very hard to crack those exams because of relative grading (Percentile based Examination). About 40% of students fail every semester because of this grading system. I managed to grade god in my first mid-term exams.

From the 5th semester, you will get internship offers and from the 7th semester, you will get placement offers. The highest package is around 1cr according to college officials and the average package is around 6 LPA. The college claims 90% of students get placed every year and many companies visit for placement. I plan to get a good job with package 15LPA or go for higher studies.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placement. More than 850 companies visit VIT. Most of them are tech-oriented. The core is very less. For use average package is around 10 lakh. PSU also visits for core placement. For CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE placemats are 100 percent.

As I have dropped a year so 5 years integrated course will cover my drop year. As per the faculty-student ratio, 1:30 is the ratio. Most of the faculties are phd and they just read out from ppt. But some of them are very good The term exam is very timely and the difficulty level is easy.

Students will be eligible for placements from the pre final year 2nd semester. Companies like Google Microsoft Amazon Walmart Accenture philips dell wabtec etc visited. Profiles are of three category super dream dream and regular. Super would be more than 10lakh and dream would be from 6lakh to 11lakh and regular would be from 2 lakh to 5.5 lakh. Mostly 100 percent placements are guaranteed. My plans would be working in a corporate company with good package.

Almost everyone from CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical gets placed. The average placement for CSE students is around 1500000. The highest package rose to around 1.02 Cr. All the major companies including Google, Microsoft, Deeshaw, Morgan Stanley, etc visit campus.
