VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the start of the seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placement. So many companies visit like Google, Microsoft, etc. highest package was 30 lack From Google for computer science student. average package is approximately 5 lack. After completing my degree I am going for higher education.

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for the placements if they complete the minimum Credits required. Every year nearly 700 to 800 companies visit the campus for the placements and internships like Microsoft, TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, and maximum all the MNCs visit the campus. The highest package offered according to this year's graph of placements is 1crore and the average package is 6 lakhs per anum. Every year nearly 90 percent of the students get placed but 10 to 20 percent of students opt for higher studies and Internal transfer programs. If I get the placement I will definitely opt for that and will try to excel in that field accordingly.

From 3-2, the students will get placements and so many companies will come like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Motorola, etc...., the highest package is 1crore and the average is 60LPA and the percentage of students will get the placements are 98 percent

Campus Placements are good in our college. Recently, 2 students from the Btech CSE department of the 2023 outgoing batch got a Pre-Placement-Offer of 1Crore CTC from MOTOR. The eligibility for sitting in placements is for prefinal year and final year students. And for internships, it depends on the Sector you have joined.

The students are eligible for placement in the third year itself(6 semesters) and also the companies come from abroad. College placement is the main site of attraction for students. But for getting a good placement or the best one has to maintain his/her percentage and should have knowledge in the field of coding. The highest placement this year has gone to 65 lakhs and the average placement is from 10-12 lakhs. Around 89% of students get their dream offer.

I choose this course as I was always intrested in computers and programming and moreover i didn't get computer science so i choose information technology. Faculty to student ratio is good VIT frequently hire faculties.Most of the faculties are PhD. In a semester we have 2 CATs(Continuous Assessment Test) and 1 FATs(Final Assessment Test) .

From the fourth year you can get an internship in a good company after fourth-year companies visit college minimum 8 cgpa you have to score for interviews average package is 7 to 8 lakhs and it goes up to 40 lakhs.

The placements are really good in the college. The only downfall is that there is a huge crowd here so the competition increases. This year the highest went up to 1cr per annum which was offered to 2 students. The average package is around 8lakhs per annum.

The placement ratio is good in vit. All the top companies like Google, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Microsoft. You need an 8.5 cgpa for getting a good placement. College provides you with good assistance for getting a good job. There is a separate department for this and they can assist you with this throughout the year.

After the sixth semester onwards we get to be seated in campus interviews while the internships start from the third year onwards. The average placement package is 6-9 LPA. More than 600+ companies arrived last year on our campus to give offers to students.
