Remarks

We have to give VITEEE exam and based on the rank you secured, the admission process takes place. The details about the application form, fees, and exam are available on the VIT website and google, you can easily find them. There are some reservations available for sc, st people so they can make use of these reservations and reduce the fees by some amount.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT follows ffcs which means a fully flexible credit system where you will be the one who will select the slots you want, and the faculty you wish and make your time table accordingly. There are two internal exams and one final exam. Sem usually will be 4 to 5 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 495000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, you will get internship offers and from the 7th semester, you will get placement offers. The highest package is around 1cr according to college officials and the average package is around 6 LPA. The college claims 90% of students get placed every year and many companies visit for placement. I plan to get a good job with package 15LPA or go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are five categories in the fee structure which start from Rs.1,50,000 to 5,00,000. Based on the rank you secure and the branch and specialization you want the fee depends. Hostel fees also depend on the choice you make because 1 bed, 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed, 6 bed are available and three types of mess are available so this depends on your choice. Hostel-fee starts from Rs. 35,000 to 1,00,000 per year and mess fees from Rs.50,000 to 65,000.

Campus Life

Campus life is very enjoyable. Vit is very huge and covered by trees so it feels very fresh and looks beautiful. You can take long walks and enjoy nature in the early morning times or evenings. The college has many clubs and chapters (around 150) so you will have many opportunities to mingle with people and enjoy doing your hobbies. The college has many sports facilitates and participates in many competitions so you can also take part in sports easily. The campus has a very big library where almost all the books you need are available and provides many opportunities to even prepare for the gate exam, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are big enough and have a 24/7 hot water facility, so we don't face water-related problems. The mess food is of good quality and tastes good. The registration process for the hostel and mess is done online.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
