University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I always wanted to be a journalist so after passing class 12 from West Bengal board of secondary education I choosed Rani Birla college under Calcutta university which is very good college for girls but infrastructure should be improved by the authorities.

This is a great opportunity to study here means in vidyamandir , the hostel , college together create a great experience to all students including me.. I hope it should be a great journey for us . Everything is fine and good in microbiology foeld

The course is straight forward it's a BCOM degree, and it helps me to prepare for my upcoming CA course. It fits perfectly for the real world, helpful for accounts and financial fields. Though the course is good but there are a few scope of improvement. The number of practical classes are less, they should improve it. The exams are conducted every 6 months and difficulty is easy to moderate.

1. The curriculum of BBA in Asutosh College was an extravagant one with the most fee structure. Also, the faculty members are highly educated each one equipped with a doctorate degrre with high tech teaching methods, i.e., smart classrooms. 2. The curriculum has both academic as well as practical usages, the later involving industrial trips and conversations with workers there so as to develop a more ethical knowledge about the topics. 3. The class timings can be a bit more improvised during the early part of the day along with the number of classes taken on each day providing the students with an opportunity to learn more everyday. 4. The frequency of examinations are semester-wise, i.e., 6 months and the difficulty level varies. The paper marking system is a bit tough though.

Many MNCs mass hire students, companies like TCS, Accenture, British Telecomm etc. The rate of employibilty is more for BCom & MBA students however it doesnt mean students from other departments dont get placed. We have learn skills for the field we are applying for, the companies dont entirely focus on our grades, we are evaluated on our verbal & thinking skills, our prsonality & eagerness to learn from them. The starting package for beginners can start from 2.5 LPA & for MBA candidates it can be 5LPA.

Courses and Curriculum are moderatly relevant , some courses are best for the real world applications . No suggestions for teaching methods . Faculties make the course easy to understand and also teach their real world application.

I had choosen my course after getting the marksheet of 12th class. Durring this course I had learnt alot of new things. However there are not alot of technical instruments like computer. But overall experience is good.

The BSC Math at Maulana Azad college covers basic as well as advanced topics with real life examples which is great . The teachers know their subject and help us understand everything.we have test regularly which can be tricky sometimes, but it will help us eventually.

The curriculum is based of what is provided by the university of Calcutta. This course gives in depth knowledge of how computers work and what it is all about, the course can benefit alot from including more about new projects. And exams are conducted in regular intervals with internal assessment in regular intervals.

Has Good and helpful teachers. Good presentation of courses. Labs are well developed and highly maintained. Sessions are conducted regularly. Assignments are giving regularly and also during the class.
