University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students become eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. A huge number of companies visit the college including the big four. The highest package last year was INR.22 lakhs per annum and the average package is INR. 6-7 lakhs per annum. About 50-60% of the students get placed. I will continue with my professional course.

Friends become eligible when they are in the third year for the placement after sem five. In my college, there are many companies that used to visit for campus selection like Deloitte, EY, and KPMG. The average package which the student gets is 3 to 4 lakh. Centers of a student getting placement is low because our colleges have many students who are very intelligent and hard working at the same time. After degree, I will be pursuing my CA degree only but I want to set for the placement cell as well.

I chose this course as it was best from my Point of view, the faculty of this college is best as they teach well enough and at the same time treat students as a friend and the terminal exam take place every 6 months gap.

From sem 5 I guess, students are eligible for college campus placements. There are many companies that visit our college for placements. Quite a good number of people get the placements. My plan after the degree is to pursue MBA.

I wanted to do B.com honours Faculties are good, student friendly They are all of PHD, some are CA , CMA About 6 months in gross. It's easy to pass if student studies regularly and solve their doubts by faculties itself.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. As much I've witnessed is Deloitte. I don't have much knowledge but I guess starts from 4lpa TO 10lpa. Very few students get placed, those who score very very well only they're placed. I am planning to opt for new courses to strengthen my skills and knowledge.

The college offers placements with an average package of 6-7 lacs and the highest is approx 25 lacs. Many companies and firms come to the college for placement like Delloite, Tata, and KPMG. etc. A good % of students get placements.

I choose bcom hons because I had an interest in accounts and finance. The faculty of this college is super friendly and well-trained. Most of them are qualified CAs and CSs. Term exams are after every 6 months and the difficulty level is good.

From Semester 5, students become eligible for campus placements. Big 4, and many more provide placement. I am pursuing a CA student so after getting the degree I will give my 100% to CA. They will provide placements for approx 50000-60000.

The placement journey starts from sem 5 and there is a seperate placement cell in the College that provides placement to the children who are interested to participate. there are around 5-10 companies that offer employment to the students and big 4 companies also among them. The average salary offered is around 4-5 lpa.
