University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college give placement opportunity to last year batch it give many top companies placement like genpect,tcs,top mnc companies. It give 50000 to 60000 package placement 80 to 90 people get the opportunity

The college itself holds multiple placement camps. Many decent to big companies come to our college for campus interviews and do mass hirings. The emplotment opportunities from and after teh college are decent, and there are internship opportunities from the college directly as well. From the 2nd or 3rd year, students get opportunities for campus interviews. The packages may vary from 2 LPA, to higher as well. My plan is to do my specialization in computer hardware after getting the degree.

The course that is being thought in the college is the couse set by the Calcutta University. It is well prepared for your knowledge base to be indepth. There could be more practical and software knowledge that is being at increase in the job sectors. There is only semester exams with internals of 35 and written external exam of 65. The paper that is set by the calcutta university is generally on a tougher side.

Since I was a commerce background student that inspired me to do further studies specializing in accountancy and finance only .so I opted the course but was mentally not prepared for the unforeseen circumstances that led me to give several backlogs one after another. Covers essential topics but may lack depth in advanced areas or practical applications. Limited in scope, missing key aspects of the subject, or outdated.

There are direct on campus placement on computer science, statistics and chemistry department. And besides these subjects students , they qualify the national level exams like IIT JAM , GATE ,TIFR and others exams.

Course curriculum was very vast and mainly subjective written in nature. There were no multiple choice questions available during our time.There were no practicals or hands on sessions. Annual Exams where of 3 hours mainly subjective. We used to memorize or used common sense to clear all subjects.

Its quite good course for future purposes and you can do bba thing here its quite good college here you gonna love it and the teachers are also nice and good friendly in behaviour you should ashutosh for bba

The curriculum follows calcutta University curriculum. To be honest it's okayish. There's a lot of repeated topics in papers of 6 semesters. Chemistry part is completely irrelevant. For example, I don't think people in life sciences will ever need to solve big equations of thermodynamics. It's scary

I want to pursue neet but as a side course i joined this college and did microbiology which will help me during my mbbs too Till now I didn't see real life applications because I dont usually go to college like that But the professor should be more engaging in the class and change soke teaching methods My first semester exam is in feb and my classes started at sept so basically they are taking exams in 5 months and a semester is suppose to be 6 month and exam difficulties level depend on cu paper

The course is very helpful.Actully with no disrespectful on other course but this course was awesome it helps to growth your personality and give you a good start-up for the career.Very helpful course.
