Placement Experience:

All the students who have passed to 7th semester are eligible to sit for placements given by CGPU.The largest offer given is 34 lpa by Texas Instruments. Almost 85% of students get placed at each year with an average package of 7lpa.Im planning to do Mtech with my Gate score

Placement Experience:

In my college, students became eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester of their engineering program. This allowed students to have completed the core subjects and gain sufficient technical knowledge.Several renowned companies from various sectors visited our campus for recruitment. Some of the notable ones were Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM.The highest package offered during our placements was around INR 20 lakhs per annum. This offer was made by a multinational IT company for a software development role.The placement percentage in our college was quite good, with around 80% to 85% of eligible students securing job offers during campus placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Many companies are visiting our college for placements. Some of the companies are texas instruments , bosch , tcs ,etc. Highest package is offered by texas and it is 35 lpa. average package is around 4 lpa. In the previous year almost 90 percentage students got placements. After the degree my plan is to go for the job which i got from the placement.

Students are eligible for campous placement from their third year. Average is about 360000 per annum and highest package offered to some one was about 34 00,000. Lot of the students get placed . I currently plan on taking a pg course after graduating .

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
