Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year( semester 6).Our college brings large number of placement opportunities. Companies that visited to college during the past 5 years includes Amazon, Sobha constructions, Texas instrumentation , Deloitte , Larson & Turbo,etc.The highest package that the college got is 36lpa or electronics and communication department and the average package is 6lpa.Almost 1500 students got placed in each year.The main plan is to get placed in a good company else would go for higher studies and would crack government exams.

The placement procedure starts from the sixth semester. Before entering into placement, the college conducts a one week placement training program that enables students to face the placement effectively. Over the last five years, more than 1500+ students got placed in 200+ companies with 2200+ offers with an highest package of 33lpa. There is an average package of 6-10lpa.Some of the major recruiters includes BOSCH, AIR INDIA, AG&P, L&T,HAVELS, SAINT GOBAIN,SOBHA CONSTRUCTIONS etc. There is placement room equiped with 4 interview rooms and 2 GD rooms.Over 500+ alumnis contributed to the sucees of Chandrayan mission. The placement trend varies each year.Even if one does not make a placement, he/she have various other oppurtunities for higher studies

Cimparing to all other engineering colleges in Kerala our college provide maximum placement opportunity. For civil opportunities and packages are very few. But for computer science and electrical department majority or students with skill get placed with good salary package.

We are eligible for campus placement from our S6 onwards. Our college provides a good placement and average package is around 7,50,000 and the percentage of students places in an year is around 80 percentage. My plan is to go for higher studies

Students became eligible for campis placements on their 4th year. They are prepared for placements on 3rd year. Companies such as L&T, shobha constructions, google, abode etc visited and made offers above 3 lakhs per monthstudents having 7.5 and above are admitted for placements. The highest package is 6 lakhs. My plans after degree is to worl for an year and do masters.

Students become eligible for placement usually around seventh semester. The lowest package is usually 5 LPA and the highest was 34LPA. Around 85% of students get placed. Companies like Bosche, Infosys,etc

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
