I have a keen interest in the field of economics and was interested in going abroad for my higher education thus after my 12th j applied for 5 different foreign universities and got admission in University and Chicago. Culture and ranking of the institution was really good and due to my interest of getting job abroad I took admission there. I applied there via online mode of application which was around $ 100.

    Course Curriculum :

My course have very research oriented curriculum. In my first year I have to take a lot of core classes ranging from Biology to Visual Art alongside with Major classes in my case which was Economics. Every class requires 100% effort and is not going to be an “easy A” as many core classes at other colleges are. There is no industrial exposure, but employers are always looking to hire Chicago grads.

Before making my decision, I viewed the reviews and quality education being provided in this university and intrigued me and then I thought to apply in this prestigious university. Also, the university of Melbourne being the second oldest University in Australia has an immense prestige and quality education. The infrastructure and environment of my university was very excellent to pursue any course in the university. I applied for the course online and the fee for application was $100.

    Course Curriculum :

The curriculum consists of vast syllabus for example programming languages, mathematics/ statistics, distributed computing, information systems etc. With this there is a choice to choose one of the specializations among Advanced Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Human-Computer Interaction, Programming Languages and Distributed Computing, and Spatial Information. This helped in acquiring the new skills of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence which I did not read in my graduation.

University of Chicago had been on my top 10 college list that I was keen to be a part of. I came across this college online while looking for best universities in the US. I did quite an extensive research online and was quite impressed by the programs they offered, the faculty and the campus. Right after my 12th, I started applying online for all the colleges including UChicago. I had applied to 5 other colleges. With a GPA of 3.9 /5, I was fairly confident I would get through at least one of my dream colleges. I got all of the admission process details from the official website of UChicago , it was quite detailed and had all the contact information which made the application process quite smooth. I applied here through the common application and the application fee was around $80.Although, I got that waived off later after admission as I had applied for need-based financial aid, which I came to know through one of the college staffs during my application process.
