    NO SURPRISES

I choose Vanderbilt due to its reputation for being a good school. The people seemed happy and the facilities were very nice. Overall the school was well rounded with numerous opportunities from sports games to clubs.

    Course Curriculum -

The curriculum is fairly set and there is not much flexibility in the engineering department. Otherwise the courses are diverse and realively easy to get the classes you want or need. Besides the largest classiest they are not that big.

    UNI REVIEW BY KENDALL

Reputation, Medical campus, city setting. Vanderbilt is ranked as the 14th best college in America, which I knew would attract other smart and driven students. I wanted this intellectual environment to begin my professional career.

    Course Curriculum -

Vanderbilt is a liberal arts curriculum, so my course work was split between my two majors and a liberal arts education. I think the liberal arts curriculum was too rigid and had a high number of requirements without overlap. The major needs were adequate.

    VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY'S REVIEW

Vanderbilt offers numerous outstanding research and premed opportunities. The proximity of its hospitals to the undergraduate student body is extremely helpful. Its beautiful campus also deserves recognition.

    Course Curriculum -

Vanderbilt has a basic core curriculum that all Arts and Science students are required to fulfill called Axle. Engineering students are not required to complete this and Peabody students have their own set of requirements. The Axle curriculum encompasses a wide variety of categories and ensures a liberal education.
