NIFT 2026 Round 1 Allotment: Next Steps
Round 1 allotment was released on June 26, 2026. Here is what you should do immediately.
- Log in at nift.admissions.nic.in and download your allotment letter.
- Accept or float: Select Accept to confirm your seat, or Float to retain the allotment and stay in the pool for a better preference in the next round.
- Pay the admission fee before the deadline in your allotment letter — non-payment cancels the allotment.
- Report for document verification at your allotted campus on the scheduled date with original marksheets, category certificate, identity proof and photographs.
- If not allotted in Round 1: You are automatically considered for Round 2 — monitor nift.admissions.nic.in for the next allotment list.
Students who neither accept nor pay the fee within the given window are dropped from all further rounds. Check all deadlines on the official NIFT admission portal.
