Is MICAT compulsory for MICA admission 2027?

Yes. MICAT is compulsory for every MICA programme. That covers PGDM-C, PGDM, PGCM-AMC, PGCM-DMMC and FPM. There is no exemption route.

Can I get into MICA without a CAT, XAT or GMAT score?

Yes, but only for the one-year PGCM-AMC and PGCM-DMMC programmes. These need MICAT alone. PGDM-C and PGDM also need a CAT, XAT or GMAT score.

What CAT percentile is needed for MICA PGDM admission?

MICA does not publish a fixed percentile cut-off. The official rule states only that a minimum cut-off applies. It is set on CAT or XAT percentile, or GMAT score.

How is the MICA final merit list calculated?

The PGDM-C and PGDM composite score has six parts. CAT, XAT or GMAT carries 35% and MICAT carries 25%. PI carries 20% and GE carries 10%. Academics and diversity carry 5% each.

What is the MICA application fee and is it refundable?

The processing fee is INR 2,500 for one programme, including MICAT. Each additional programme costs INR 500 more. The cap is three programmes from one school. The fee is not refundable, even if you are ineligible.

Can final-year students apply for MICA admission 2027?

Yes. Final-year students and those awaiting results may apply. You must submit a certificate from your head of institution. Admission stays provisional until the final mark sheet is submitted.

Does MICA offer direct admission or a management quota?

No. MICA has no management quota and no direct admission route. Every seat is filled strictly on merit. MICAT and MICA's own selection rounds decide the list.

Can I apply to both MICA schools with one MICAT attempt?

No. The MICAT paper differs between the two schools. One attempt maps to one school only. Use MICAT I for one school and MICAT II for the other.

Is work experience required for MICA admission?

MICA Ahmedabad Admission 2027 is based on MICA's own entrance test, MICAT, for every programme. For the two year PGDM-C and PGDM, you also need a CAT 2026, XAT 2027 or GMAT score. The PGDM is a two year programme with more focus on business analytics and consulting. It has 60 seats on the same Shela campus. MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships 2027

Merit cum means scholarship: 25% to 100% of the tuition fee. Family income is the main factor, along with your marks.

Equity scholarship: Up to INR 5 Lakhs for deserving students in the two year programmes.

Government schemes: Central and state post matric schemes for SC, ST, OBC and minority students are on scholarships.gov.in. Check the income limit first.

Education loan: Banks lend against the MICA offer letter. Ask the admissions office for a fee letter for your bank.

If you leave: Read the refund rule in your offer letter before you pay. MICA does not print it on the admissions page.
