AP EDCET 2020 RESULT & COUNSELLING

AP EDCET 2020 Result will be released tentatively in the month of May 2020 by Sri Venkateswara University on behalf of APSCHE. Candidates appeared in the examination will be able to check their result by visiting the official website. The result will be declared in the form of a scorecard.

AP EDCET 2020 result will be declared tentatively in the 2nd week of May at the official website. Candidates need to log in with their credentials created at the time of registration. Check the steps to download the admit card below.
Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website after the announcement of result. Candidates can view their sectional and overview score in the scorecard along with the qualifying status. Candidates shortlisted for the AP EDCET 2020 are required to carry the scorecard while reporting for the counselling process.

AP EDCET 2020 Answer Keys will be released by APSCHE. Candidates can calculate their tentative marks on the basis of the official answer keys. To download the official answer keys, candidates need to visit the official website and login with their registration number and date of birth.
In case of any discrepancy in the answer key, candidates need to send the complaints along with the supporting documents to the convener of the exam before the declaration of result. The application fee for challenging any response in the answer key will be announced later on the official site.
The cut-off marks or qualifying marks for AP EDCET 2020 is 37 out of the total marks, i.e, 25% excluding the candidates that belong to SC/ST. There is no negative marking in the written test. One mark is awarded against every correct answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for questions not attempted. The criteria of qualifying marks are not applicable for SC/ST category candidates as well as for female candidates (only in Physical science and Mathematics methodologies).
Candidates are allotted rank in every methodology on the basis of their performance in the entrance test. In case of a tie in the score of two or more candidates, ranks will be determined on the basis of candidates’ performance in any of the following subjects: Maths/Physical Science/Biological Science/Social Studies. Further, if the tie still persists then ranks will be allocated on the basis of the score in Part- A (General English).
Moreover, if the tie continues even after applying all the criteria mentioned above then candidates older in age will be placed higher in the order of merit. The rank list will be published on the official site of AP EDCET 2020 in the month of May.
AP EDCET Counselling will be conducted in online mode. The counselling process will comprise Verification of documents, Registration, Filling online choices and Reporting to the allocated institute for verification of documents. All the shortlisted candidates are required to pay the processing fee to complete the registration for AP EDCET 2020 Counselling. Processing fee for General candidates is INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for SC/ST category.
