AP EDCET 2019 Result will be announced by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in June 2019 on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). The course is conducted for admission to two years B.Ed program in various University, Government, Aided and Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh. The entrance test is conducted in both Telegu and English. The qualifying marks varies according to the methodology. The methodologies are basically the different subjects which are covered in the question paper. Candidates need to obtain score above the qualifying marks in order to qualify for AP EDCET 2019 Counselling Process. However, the criteria of qualifying marks is not applicable for SC/ST category candidates.

Candidates will be allocated ranks in each methodology on the basis of their performance in AP EDCET 2019. The ranks allocated will be valid for admission to B.Ed course for academic session 2019-19 only.

How to check AP EDCET 2019 result?

AP EDCET 2019 result is expected to be announced in the month of May-2019. Candidates need to login with their credentials created at the time of registration. Check the steps to download the admit card below.

  • Visit the official web address web portal of AP EDCET as stated above.
  • Enter the AP EDCET 2019 admit card number on the box blank box stating Admit Card number.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Candidates’ score will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save or download and keep print out of the score card for future reference

Details on Score Card

Candidates can download the score card from the official website after the announcement of AP EDCET 2019 Result. Candidates can view their sectional and overview score in the score card along with the qualifying status. Candidates shortlisted for the AP EDCET 2019 are required to carry the score card while reporting for the counselling process.

AP EDCET 2019 Answer Keys

AP EDCET 2019 Answer Keys will be announced by APSCHE. Candidates can calculate the marks on the basis of the official answer keys. To download the official answer keys, candidates need to login with their registration number and date of birth.

The answer keys will be released for different sets of answer keys. In case of any discrepancy in the answer key, candidates need to send the complaints along with the supporting documents to the convener of exam before the declaration of result. The application fee for challenging the any response in the answer key will be announced later on the official site.

AP EDCET 2019 Qualifying Marks

The cut off marks or qualifying marks for AP EDCET 2019 is 37 out of the total marks, i.e, 25% excluding the candidates that belong to SC/ST. There is no negative marking in the written test. One mark is awarded against every correct answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for questions not attempted. The criteria of qualifying marks is not applicable for SC/ST category candidates as well as for female candidates (only in Physical science and Mathematics methodologies).

AP EDCET 2019 Merit List

Candidates are allotted rank in every methodology on the basis of their performance in the entrance test. In case of a tie in the score of two or more candidates, ranks will be determined on the basis of candidates’ performance in any of the following subjects: Maths/Physical Science/Biological Science/Social Studies. Further, if the tie still persists then ranks will be allocated on the basis of the score in Part- A (General English).  

Moreover, if the tie continues even after applying all the criteria mentioned above then candidates older in age will be placed higher in the order of merit. The rank list will be published on the official site of AP EDCET 2019 in the month of May.

AP EDCET 2019 Counselling

AP EDCET Counselling will be conducted in online mode. The counselling process will comprise Verification of documents, Registration, Filling online choices and Reporting to the allocated institute for verification of documents. All the shortlisted candidates are required to pay the processing fee to complete the registration for AP EDCET 2019 Counselling. Processing fee for General candidates is INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for SC/ST category.

Steps for AP EDCET 2019 Counselling

  1. Candidates to visit the Helpline center on the stipulated time and date along with all the requisite documents.
  2. Pay the processing fee at the Helpline center and sign in the center before proceeding ahead for verification of documents.
  3. All the candidates are called for registration rank wise.
  4. Carry all the Original documents for the purpose of verification and bring Xerox copies for the purpose of submission.
  5. All candidates claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST category are required to submit integrated Community certificate issued by MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer).
  6. Income certificate issued by MRO after January 01, 2017 will be considered only for the purpose of Tuition Fee Reimbursement as per the rules of State government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
  7. Use the OTP (One Time Password) sent on the registered mobile number to login and fill choices for methodology and college.
  8. Fill the choices carefully and take printout of the finally saved choices.
  9. The allotment of the seat is intimated to the candidate via SMS on the registered mobile number.
  10. Candidates can download the provisional allotment order from the official website and report to the allocated institute for admission.
