AP LAWCET 2018 Application Form (Released)

APCHE will release the official notification of law examination along with AP LAWCET application form in the last week of February 2018. Indian Nationals satisfying local/ non-local status requirements as per Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions can apply online at  www.aplawcet.nic.in. Check AP LAWCET Eligibility

Important points related to AP LAWCET registration:

  • Applications can only be filled in the online mode
  • Fill in the information asked in the form authentically
  • Upload scanned images of candidate’s recent passport sized photograph and his/her signature
  • Guidelines for the photograph and signature are mentioned in the application form
  • Application fee can be submitted in both online and offline mode.
  • Submitting the application form along with the fee before the deadline is advised to avoid any fine

The state level law entrance examination is conducted yearly by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. AP LAWCET 2018 is scheduled for April 19. Candidates seeking admissions to 5-year LLB and 3-LLM programs in various associated law institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh can apply for the exam.

Eligibility for AP LAWCET 2018

Candidates need to satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the test-

General Criteria

  • Indian citizen who is native resident of Andhra Pradesh
  • Indian citizen and whose one or both parents were domicile of Andhra Pradesh
  • Indian citizen and whose both or any one of the parents had studied Andhra Pradesh

For 5-year LLB Program

  • Candidates should be minimum of 17-years of age at the time of the exam.
  • There is no upper age limit stated for a candidate to apply for the program
  • Intermediate graduates or equivalent exam from any recognized state or central board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate for General/OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category

For 3-year LLB Program

  • Minimum of 21 years of age at the time of AP LAWCET
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any discipline and from a State or Central university with 45% marks for General/ OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category
  • Final year candidates can apply for the program if they satisfy other eligibility requirements.

How to Fill TS LAWCET 2018 Application Form?

The steps to follow to submit the application form without any hassle are as following-

Step 1: Payment of AP LAWCET Application Fee

Before starting the registration, a stipulated fee has to be paid by the candidate as per their category. Payment can be through debit/ debit card and or AP Online.

Steps to be followed for debit/ credit card mode:

  • Click on ‘Proceed to Pay the Fee Through payment Gateway Using Credit Card/ Debit Card” button present on official website.
  • On clicking the button, a new page will open. Specify the below-mentioned details on that page:

  • After filling all the details, click on the Make Payment” button
  • You will be redirect to the payment gateway where you need to pay the exam fee through credit/ debit card.

Note: At the AP Online centre, candidates need to pay the application fee and get the receipt in return, which will contain the Transaction ID.

Application Fee of AP LAWCET 2018

Registration fee for the state level law examination will be approximately INR 757.50 (including processing fee and taxes).

Step 2:Filling the Online Form (h4)

Visit the official website of AP LAWCET and login with the registration number issued at the time of fee payment. Listed below are details that are to be mentioned in the form:

1. Candidate’s Details: Enter candidate’s name, DOB, gender, mother’s name, and father’s name.

2. Qualifying Exam: specify qualification (LLB/ Degree in any other stream/ Class 12). Also mention other related information like hall ticket number of qualifying exam and place of study.

3. Entrance Exam: In this field, select the law entrance exam they want to give - PGLCET/ LAWCET- 5 Year/ LAWCET- 3 Year

4. Photo and Signature: upload the photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned below:

  • Photo size and format: Less than 30 KB, JPG file format
  • Signature size and format: Less than 15 KB, JPG file format

5. Regional Center for Test: Choose the preferable AP LAWCET exam centre from the drop-down list.

6. Category: select a category you belong to as per the Caste certificate - OC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ BC-C/ BC-D/ BC-E/ SC/ ST. Also, any candidate belonging to the special category (NCC/ CAP/ Sports) needs to select the appropriate category.

7. Local Area Status: Choose the local area you belong to under this column:

  • AU (Andhra University)
  • OU (Osmania University)
  • SVU (Sri Venkateswara University)
  • Non-Local

8. Minority/ Non-Minority: Candidates belonging to the minority group (such as SC/ ST/ OBC) must click the “Minority” button and those belonging to non-minority group (General category students) need to click the “Non-minority” button.

9. Address: Provide your permanent address.

10. Class 10th: Enter class 10th education details such as board, hall ticket number, month and year of passing, and place of study.

11. Physically Challenged: It requires details of the type of physical challenge a candidate has (if applicable) - Visual Handicapped/ Hearing Impaired/ Ortho Handicapped.

12. Class 12th: Enter Standard 12th education details such board name, hall ticket number, month and year of passing, as well as place of study.

13. Annual Income of Parents: Select the annual income category under which their parents fall – Below One Lakh/ Between One Lakh and Two Lakhs/ More than Two Lakhs.

After filling in AP LAWCET application form, click on the checkbox, “I accept the Terms and the Conditions” and press the “Submit” button.

After successful submission of application form and fee, take a print out of the application form for future reference.

AP LAWCET Application Form Correction

AP LAWCET Committee provides candidates with an option to edit specific fields in the online form. It is usually a 5 days window.
