AP LAWCET 2020 COUNSELLING
STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
AP LAWCET Counselling will be conducted by APSCHE in the first week of October 2020 on sche.ap.gov.in. The process is done in online mode to grant admission to shortlisted candidates in 3 Year and 5 Year Undergraduate and Postgraduate law program. Candidates who score 35% marks in AP LAWCET 2020 that is 30 out of 120 marks are eligible to appear in the counselling.

It is mandatory for the students to bring the following documents at the time of counselling for verification. They must take the original documents along with their attested photocopies:
The counselling for AP LAWCET 2020 will commence in June 2020. Students who have scored the qualifying marks are offered counselling in the sequence of the ranks they are assigned. At the time of counselling, students have to get their documents verified at the designated AP LAWCET counselling centres. Following are the steps to complete the counselling process:
Notification in newspapers with place and details of counselling is released by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. The press release contails all the important details regarding rank of candidates, registration process, documents required and their verification. A list of help line centers for reporting is also mentioned which is to be adhered by the candidate.
Candidates have to go through certificate verification step at the alloted Help line center to continue with the counselling process. Option to select desired law course and college will only be open once documents are fully verified. Following are the Help centers for certificate verification.

At the time of Certificate and Document Verification at the help center, candidates have to pay the required counselling fee in online mode on the official website. The fees is non-refundable which is to be paid through Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking.

Within a stipulated time candidates can change their course and college option preference. Even after the allotted time, AP LAWCET conducting body provides a final window to modify the options if not satisfied.
APSCHE releases Final Allotment list on the official website. Candidates have to download the order and report through Self Reporting System. After which they have to essentially report at the designated college.
Self Reporting and manually reporting at the college are mandatory steps to retain a seat. Failing to do so at the mentioned time and venue can lead to cancellation of allotment and no further claim will be entertained.
Seat allotment will be done on the basis of student’s rank, category, and preference filled during counselling. Students will get SMS on their registered mobile number regarding their allotted course and college. Students are required to report to the allotted college to confirm their seat within the given time. If students are unable to report to the allotted college then their seat will be allotted to the next candidate.
