    BLAT 2020 Application Forms will be available from the first week of February 2020 in online mode only. Candidates are advised to carefully check the course-wise eligibility criteria before starting the application procedure. BLAT 2020 will be conducted in the month of May 2020. 

    Candidates must have a valid email id and mobile number since all communication from the conducting authority is done through these means. Students need to have high quality scanned images of recent passport size colour photograph and signature done in a white paper using blue/black ballpoint pen.

    BHU Law Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility

    Candidates must thoroughly check the course wise eligibility criteria before starting the application process.

    Eligibility criteria for each of the course are given below.

    1. LLB (Hons.):
    • Candidates should have earned their B.Sc/B.Com/B.A or any other degree in 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university.
    • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination.
    1. B.A. LLB:
    • Candidates should have completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) board or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
    • Alternatively, candidates must be appearing for their Higher Secondary or equivalent board examination that year.
    • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Relaxation of minimum aggregate marks for students belonging to reserved categories is applicable. (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST).
    1. LLM/LLM (HRDE)/LLM (under special course of study):
    • Candidates should have completed 3 years of LLB or 5 years of LLB from a recognized university.
    • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying LLB examination.
    • Alternatively, candidates must be appearing for the qualifying LLB examination that year.
    1. PhD (full time):
    • Candidates who have not appeared/qualified in the NET/JRF must appear for the Common Entrance Research Test (CRET) conducted by BHU.

    How to Fill the BHU Law Entrance Test 2020 Application Form?

    Entire application procedure for the BHU Law Entrance 2020 is online. There is no alternate way for applying. After submission of the online application, candidates must take a print out of the same and keep it safely for future reference. However, there is no need to send a hard copy of the filled application to BHU.

    Moreover, there is no need for attaching any documents apart from the scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature. Before starting to fill the application, aspirants must make sure they have the following documents/information ready with them.

    • Valid Email Id and Mobile Number
    • Access to internet (good connection), printer and scanner
    • Scanned images of candidate’s photograph and signature in prescribed format
    • Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card credentials in case of online payment of application fee

    After ensuring the above, candidates can then follow the given steps to successfully apply.

    Step 1: Registration

    1. Visit the official website (bhuonline.in) for registration.
    2. Click on ‘Apply for Admission’ link.
    3. At the new page, click on ‘Register Yourself’ link.
    4. After carefully going through all the guidelines fill in all the necessary details including email Id and mobile number, carefully.
    5. Click on the ‘Sign Up’ link after filling all the required details.

    Step 2: Activation and validation

    1. Upon clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ link, a confirmation message is displayed on the screen.
    2. An activation email is sent to the registered email id and validation code is sent via SMS to the registered mobile number.
    3. Click on the activation link sent via email. Enter the verification code sent via SMS when asked for the same.
    4. Now, the account is activated and Login for further completion of the application is possible.

    Step 3: Select courses

    1. After Login to the candidates can see the ‘Status of Submitted Applications’ page.
    2.  Select applicable course name and type from the list provided in the drop-down boxes after carefully going through the eligibility criteria which is displayed.
    3. In case of applying for more than one course, click on the ‘Add Course’ link.

    Step 4: Filling up of Application and Test Centers

    1. After selecting the courses, candidates are directed to a new page.
    2. On the left side panel of this new page, the following options are present.
    • Application Status
    • Application Details
    • Upload Photograph and Signature
    • Test Center Preference
    • Delete Application form
    • Back to My Application
    1. In order to complete and submit the application, candidates must click on the ‘Application Details’ link.
    2. At the new page, some details which were submitted at the time of the registration are already filled.
    3. Proceed to fill the remaining details asked.
    4. After filling details, click on ‘Save and Continue’ link.
    5. Now click on the ‘Test Center Preference’ link.
    6. Choose Test Centers in order of preference from the drop-down menu box.
    7. Click on ‘Save and Continue’

    Step 5: Upload of Photograph and Signature

    1. After selecting Test Center preferences, candidates can move on to upload the scanned images of passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Candidates can follow the guidelines mentioned for uploading.

    Step 6: Payment:

    Application Fee for the BHU Law Entrance Test 2020 can be paid either in the online mode or in the offline (challan) mode.

    1. Online mode:

    Candidates can pay the required application fee in one of the following online methods.

    1. Net Banking
    2. Credit/Debit Card

    Candidates must note that there is an additional charge of Rs. 10/- against an online service fee.

    After completing the registration and application filling the part, candidates can pay the application fee by clicking on the ‘Continue for Online Payment’ link.

    1. Offline mode:

    Candidates can pay the application fee via challan payment at any branch of HDFC bank. The challan can be downloaded from the online entrance test portal at the time of applying.

    After completing the registration part, candidates can download the challan by clicking on the ‘Cash Payment through HDFC Bank’.

    Application Fee

    BHU Law Application Fee has to be paid in order to complete the application procedure.

    After uploading, click on the ‘Make Payment’ link from the dashboard.

    Application fee for the candidates belonging to different categories is shown in the table below.

    • Candidates belonging to General/Other category have to pay application fee of INR 500 if they are applying for one course only.
    • If candidates are wishing to apply for more than one course, the application fee for each additional following course is INR 200.
    • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category have to pay application fee of INR 250 if they are applying for only one course.
    • If candidates are wishing to apply for more than one course, the application fee for each additional following course is INR 100.

    Application Form Status

    To know if the application status is successfully submitted, click on the ‘My Applications’ link in the dashboard.

    Application is successfully submitted if ‘Entrance test fee Paid’ is displayed under the Application Status column.

    Also, upon successful payment of application fee, an email is sent to the registered email id stating that the application is successfully submitted.

    Please note that it is not possible to delete the application form once it has been successfully submitted.
