DUCET 2019 Application Form, Exam Dates & Eligibility

DUCET 2019 Application Forms will be released on March 29, 2019 (tentative) in online mode. Candidates need to visit DUCET 2019 official website and complete the online registration process and pay the application fee of INR 300 (INR 200 for SC/ST candidates). The application fee is non-refundable.

DUCET 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on June 30, 2019 across various test centers in India. It is conducted to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Dravidian University and its affiliated colleges. The online registration window closes on May 11, 2019 (expected).

DUCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up DUCET 2019 Application Form, all candidates must be aware of the eligibility criteria set by the Dravidian University. All the candidate should meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the application form. After clearing the eligibility criteria, the applicant can apply for DUCET Exam. Here are the Eligibility Criteria of DUCET 2019 Exam which is given as follow:

Nationality:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:

  • There are no age criteria to apply

Qualification:

  • Post graduate courses: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant course from any recognized university.
  • Undergraduate courses: Applicants should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent exam for admission to any of these programmes.
  • Applicant who is appearing for qualifying examination can also apply for DUCET 2019
  • Applicant must have obtained a minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • 5% relaxation in marks will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/differently-abled candidates

How to Apply for DUCET 2019?

Before filling up DUCET 2019 Application Form, Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of DUCET 2019. The application form will be available from the second week of November. The candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria can fill the application form via online mode or he/she can also download the application form from the website.

Steps to apply online for DUCET 2019 are given below:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the link Apply Online
  • Enter all the details in the application form including personal and academic details.
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature
  • Check and confirm entries.
  • Take a print out of the application form.
  • Send it to Registrar of the Dravidian University along with the demand draft.OR

Candidates who wish to take the form offline and fill the form can do so by following the steps given below:

DUCET 2019 Application form along with the university prospectus can be obtained from Dean’s office in person by paying a DD of INR 550(including both the application form and the prospectus)for the candidates belonging to General category(INR 400 for SC/ST/PHC).

Following documents are required to be enclosed along with DUCET 2019 Application Form:

Candidates must enclose self-attested copies of the documents mentioned below in the give n serial order to ensure secure candidature.

Documents should be attached in the serial order as follows:

  • Completely and correctly filled Application form
  • Certificate for certifying age
  • Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
  • Self-Attested copies of certificates/degrees and Marks-sheets
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Four recent passport-size photographs of the candidate.
  • Demand Draft
  • Other certification as claimed

Note: A single application form can be used for multiple courses by setting up the order of preferences in the application form.

DUCET 2019 Application fee has to be paid in the form of demand draft only, drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dravidian University payable at Kuppam. DUCET 2019 Application fee depends upon the category of the candidate. The details are mentioned below:

DUCET 2019 Application Form: Correction

There is no provision for correction in DUCET 2019 Application form. Once the application form is submitted, it will be considered as final.


Important Instructions

Candidates should observe and follow the instructions mentioned below to successfully complete DUCET 2019 Application Process:

  • Check DUCET 2019 Application Form carefully before submission with all the required fields filled properly. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  • The facts mentioned in the Application Form will be verified both at the time of examination and admission.
  • Multiple applications are not accepted. Hence, a candidate must fill one form only.
  • Upload clear and latest photos on the Application form. The candidate shall be detained from appearing in the examination or shall not be admitted in any institution if the photograph does not match properly.
  • Candidates are advised to send their DUCET 2019 Application form soon after they have completed his/her application process to ensure it reaches on time.
  • Dravidian University shall not be responsible for any delay in the post office.
