How to Fill IISER Application Form 2027

When the IISER 2027 registration window opens at iiseradmission.in, you will complete the application in two phases: initial registration and detailed form filling. The steps below are based on the 2026 process and are expected to remain broadly similar for 2027.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit iiseradmission.in and click "New Registration" or "New Applicant".
2. Enter your name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate.
3. Verify your mobile number via the OTP sent by SMS; also verify your email address using the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number / Registration ID — you will need it for all future logins, admit card download, and result checks.
5. Save your credentials securely. IISER does not re-send login details after initial setup.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in at iiseradmission.in using your Application Number and password.
2. Fill in personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, category (General / OBC-NCL / EWS / SC / ST / PwD), and nationality.
3. Fill in academic details: Class 10 and 12 board name, year of passing, roll number, subjects studied, and marks or percentage obtained.
4. Select your admission channel: IAT, JEE Advanced, or SCB. Students choosing IAT will proceed to select exam centre preferences; students choosing JEE Advanced or SCB should follow the instructions in the official 2027 notification.
5. Select up to four exam centre city preferences in order of priority (for IAT channel students only).

IISER Application Form Correction 2027

After the IISER 2027 registration deadline, a short correction window will open on iiseradmission.in. In the 2026 cycle, this window was open for approximately 2–3 days (April 16–18, 2026). Use this window carefully — it is the only opportunity to fix errors, and it will not be extended.

1. Log in to iiseradmission.in using your Application Number and password during the active correction window period.
2. Click on "Application Form Correction" or the equivalent link — this link appears only when the correction window is active.
3. Make the required changes and click Save / Submit to confirm.
4. Download and save the revised confirmation page immediately after making corrections.
