ITSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria - Qualification, Age, Percentage

ITSAT (Admission Test for ICFAI Tech) decides the eligibility criteria for all its available courses. The institute has elaborated different eligibility conditions as per the nationality and course selected by candidate. Here is a brief of the Eligibility Criteria for candidates appearing in ITSAT 2019:

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must pass the 12th examination from recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: It is necessary to have 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • Subjects: The subjects in which candidate has to pass the qualifying exam are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.   
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing the qualifying exam can also apply.
  • Candidates can also get admission through JEE Main/ITSAT exam/state level exam/other National level exam.
  • To enhance the chance of admission, candidates are advised to also appear ITSAT 2019.

This exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. 1st option is to fill their details online, 2nd option is to download ITSAT 2019 Application Form and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the Demand Draft of INR 700.

ITSAT 2019 Eligibility as per Nationality

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Indian candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the entrance exam and subsequent selection rounds.
  • Students who are not living in India by birth or Foreigner are not Eligible to apply for ITSAT 2019.

ITSAT 2019 Eligibility as per Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have completed 12 years of formal schooling in order to apply for the program.
  • Admission will be offered based on scores secured in ITSAT 2019 exam.
  • The subjects in which candidate has to pass the qualifying exam are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
  • Applicants who have completed their higher secondary exam/ 12th boards from a recognized board can only appear for the examination. Class XII (or its equivalent) students awaiting examination results may also apply.
  • Students must Pass with 60% and above aggregate marks in Class XII with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects.
  • Students must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in class 10th.
  • The score of exams such as JEE Main 2019 and any other state level or national level engineering exam will be considered too and a decent score for admission to the institution.
  • To enhance the chance of admission, candidates are advised to appear for ITSAT as this exam will increase the chance of getting admission.

ITSAT 2019 Eligibility as per Course

1. ITSAT exam is the one which can open the door to a successful future ahead by providing admission in the various branches of the institution namely-

  • Hyderabad
  • Dehradun
  • Tripura
  • Jaipur
  • Raipur
  • Jharkhand

2. Program specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Communication Engineering depending on the score of candidate.

3. Candidates must note that they will have to fulfil the criteria listed below for ITSAT 2019 to be able to be eligible apply for B.Tech:

  • Students must Pass with 60% and above aggregate marks in Class XII with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects.
  • Students must have scored at least 60% aggregate marks in class 10th.

Candidates should have a score of 60% aggregate marks in HSB exam for admission to the Hyderabad and Himachal Pradesh campus and 50% in case of the other campuses.
