NEST 2018 Admit Card - Download from nestexam.in

NEST 2018 Admit Card is available on the official website i.e. nestexam.in. Candidates who successfully registered themselves before June 2 can download the hall ticket online from nestexam.in, using their User ID and Password. The admit card will not be sent by post to the candidates individually.

NEST 2018 will be held in two sessions on June 2, 2018, session 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM, and session 2 from 2 PM to 5 PM. The exam will be held in 106 cities across the country. It is important to carry a valid photo id card to the exam hall, along with NEST Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, you may contact at concerned authority.

NEST 2018 Admit Card Release Date

NEST has released the admit card for NEST 2018 on April 25, at its official website. For candidates who are able to download NEST Hall Ticket, will appear for the exam on June 2. It is important to keep the document until the admission rounds are completed. They are expected to begin in the second week of July 2018.

How to Download NEST 2018 Admit Card?

Candidates can view and download NEST 2018 Admit Card from the official website. Candidates will not receive the Admit Card by post, candidates should download and take a print of the admit card.

  • Click on the link “Download NEST 2018 Admit Card”
  • Enter Application Number, Password and the captcha image code provided
  • Proceed and Click login
  • NEST 2018 Admit Card will be available on the screen.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout

Details on NEST 2018 Admit Card

NEST 2018 Admit Card carries details such as:

  • Name of Candidate
  • Father’s and Mother’s Name
  • Address: Candidates address which is filled during the time of registration is mentioned on admit card/hall ticket.
  • Date of Examination: Date of NEST 2018 is mentioned in the format Date/Month/Year.
  • Email ID: Registered email id is mentioned.
  • Venue of the Examination: Exact address of the venue with landmark is mentioned on the admit card.
  • Centre number: Centre number and College or University allotted to the candidate is also mentioned.
  • Timing schedule: Examination schedule including the break timing, if applicable is mentioned on the admit card/hall ticket.
  • Application number: Candidate’s Application number is mentioned.

Discrepancy in NEST 2018 Admit Card

Once online application is carefully submitted, candidates are allowed to preview the application form. At this stage, they are required to check the filled information and correct using edit link. Candidates can proceed by submitting the form if all the details are correct.

If there are any discrepancy in Admit card:

  • Discrepancies in NEST 2018 Admit card cannot be corrected.
  • Irrelevant changes as corrections will not be entertained by the authority.
  • If there is an urgent requirement of change in any field of Admit card, candidates can contact the conducting body by emailing the concern on nest@nestexam.in

Documents Required with NEST 2018 Admit card

Candidates are required to carry at least one original and valid identity card for verification on the day of the examination.

Candidates can carry any one of the listed ones below:

  • PAN Card
  • AADHAR card
  • College ID card
  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Voters ID
  • Identification Affidavit signed by a gazetted Officer

The photograph and signature of candidate on the valid identity card and admit card should match. The valid photo id should be damage free and the photograph should be clearly visible.

NEST 2018 Exam Centres

At the time of application, candidates are required to select preferred exam cities. The exam centre allotment is based on candidate’s preference and convenience. In exceptional cases, sometimes candidate might be allotted with a different or nearby exam centre. NEST 2018 will be conducted in 60 cities and 124 venues across India.

NEST 2018 Exam Day Instruction

Here are set of instructions which should be followed while appearing for NEST 2018.

  • Candidates are required reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the schedule time.
  • Candidates who shall reach after commencement of exam will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall in between.
  • Only after one hour of exam has passed, candidate are allowed to submit their answer sheets and leave the hall.
  • Candidates can take the question paper along with them.
  • Candidates are not allowed to take mobile phones inside the examination hall.
  • Any written material, electronic gadgets, log tables or calculators are strictly prohibited.
  • Candidates should carry extra set of pen or stationery with them.
  • Candidates must carry admit card.
