RULET 2020 Application Form: How to apply

    RULET 2020 Application Form will be available from May 11, 2020 for all courses. Eligible candidates can submit their applications before the last date of registration i.e. June 3, 2020. The application process will be done via offline mode only. RULET 2020 will be held on June 9, 2020 in offline (pen and paper-based) mode only.

    RULET 2020 Application Form has 3 simple steps as given below: 

    • In the first step, individuals will be required to download the application form from the official website of the Rajasthan University.
    • In the second step, participants must provide their correct personal details, information about academic qualification and attaching the necessary documents.
    • In the third step, aspirants must pay the requisite fees of INR 2000 (for all categories) after registering successfully for the exam via a Demand Draft.

    RULET 2020 Eligibility

    RULET 2020 eligibility criteria is as set up by the Rajasthan University. Only those students who meet the eligibility requirements for the UG law course should apply for the test. The various criteria are as stated below:

    1. Nationality

    • Citizens of India are eligible to appear for RULET 2020. Applicants may also have to fulfill certain domicile requirements in order to secure admission into the affiliated institutes.

    2. Academic qualification

    • All participants should have cleared Class 12 exams and secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks to meet RULET 2020 eligibility criteria.
    • All reserved category individuals will be granted a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying intermediate or 10+2 level exam. This means that the minimum aggregate required for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category is 45%.
    • Participants who are awaiting their result of the qualifying examination are also eligible for the test provided they can submit the necessary documents at the time of RULET 2020 admission session.

    How to Fill RULET 2020 Application Form?

    RULET 2020 Application Form will be available on the official website Aspirants should download the application forms from the website and submit them at the Department of Law, Rajasthan University. Participants who apply for the law entrance test by paying the prescribed application fees only can appear for the test.

    RULET 2020 Application Form can be filled by performing 3 main steps- Downloading the Application Form, Filling of Application Form and Submitting the form at the University of Rajasthan.

    Step 1: Downloading the RULET 2020 Application form

    • Log on to the official website of the Rajasthan University.
    • Select the ‘Examination’ tab and click on the link related to ‘RULET Admission Notice 2020’.
    • Aspirants must then click on the respective links of ‘RULET 2020 Application Form’ and ‘RULET 2020 Admission Notification’ for downloading them.
    • Read all the information regarding the law test given in the notice and print out the application form.

    Step 2: Filling RULET 2020 Application Form

    • To apply for RULET 2020, individuals must enter a few basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email-id, State of domicile, Mobile Phone Number, School last studied, Academic qualification, etc. on the application form.
    • They must be careful while filling up the details and should remember that all entries should be accurate, filled in neat hand writing.
    • Candidates will be required to put their signature in the space provided in the application form. The university will reject all application forms without signature of the applicant.
    • They must paste a passport- sized photograph on the form which should be attested by the candidate and a gazetted officer.

    Step 3: Submitting the Application Form

    • The application forms complete in every sense, must be delivered to the Rajasthan University in person or by registered post within the stipulated time.
    • Students will have to attach self-attested copies of all the necessary documents along with a demand draft of the application fees. The fee for all categories is INR 2000.
    • The demand draft should be of a nationalized bank drawn in the name of ‘Convener, RULET, University of Rajasthan’ payable at Jaipur. Applicants should write down their name and contact details on the backside of the DD.

    Students who want to secure admission into various courses offered by the Rajasthan University must fill the application form and send it to the university office within the stipulated time.     RULET 2020 FAQs

    Q. After submission of RULET 2020 Application Form, is an applicant permitted to make any alterations in the information provided in the form?

    A. NO. The details filled in the application form cannot be changed/ modified once it has been submitted to the Rajasthan University. Hence, aspirants should be careful while filling up the form and avoid making any mistakes in the details provided.

    Q. Final result/ Mark memo of the qualifying examination is not available due to delay in publication of result. Is such an individual eligible for RULET 2020?

    A. YES. Participants awaiting their result of the qualifying exam of higher secondary or 10+2 level are eligible to appear for the law entrance test provided they can submit the mark sheet at reporting center at the time of admission.

    Q. How should an individual submit RULET 2020 application fee?

    A. The application fee can be submitted offline only via Demand Draft. No other mode of remitting the fees is available.

    Q. Can RULET 2020 application be cancelled and a request for a refund generated after the submission of the prescribed application fees?

    A. NO. The application fees once paid are non refundable and non transferable and the University of Rajasthan will not entertain any requests pertaining to the same.
