What is VSAT 2027?

VSAT stands for Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test. VSAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

You must check the VSAT 2027 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. If you do not meet any one of these conditions, your application can be rejected at any stage — including during counselling. The eligibility is expected to remain the same as previous years.

Educational Qualification

The minimum qualification required for VSAT 2027 is that you must have passed — or be currently appearing in — Class 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The subject requirement depends on the programme you want to apply for.

• For B.Tech (Engineering): You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as main subjects in Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• For B.Sc Agriculture: You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in Class 12 with the required minimum percentage.
• For B.Pharma: PCB or PCM combination is accepted. The minimum percentage requirement is 60% aggregate in Class 12.

Candidates who have not studied PCM in Class 12 cannot apply for B.Tech through VSAT, regardless of their overall percentage. Make sure your subject combination matches the programme you are applying for.

VSAT 2027 Admit Card

VSAT 2027 admit card (hall ticket) works differently from most entrance exams. Vignan University does not put the hall ticket on a public download portal — instead, the hall ticket is sent directly to the candidate’s registered email ID, typically one day before the assigned exam slot. You also receive your exam slot time via SMS on your registered mobile number.

How to Get Your VSAT 2027 Admit Card

1. Check your registered email ID one day before your assigned exam date — the hall ticket will be emailed to you.
2. You can also log in to vignan.ac.in using your application number and password to download it from your candidate dashboard.
3. Download the admit card and take a clear printout on white paper.
4. Carry the printout to the exam centre along with a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar card, school or college ID).

Conditions to Retain the VSAT Scholarship

The scholarship is not automatic every year — you need to maintain academic performance to keep it. Here are the conditions:

Preparation Tips for VSAT 2027

The VSAT 2027 exam is expected in March–April 2027, which means you have around 6–7 months to prepare from September 2026. The exam is based on NCERT Class 11 and 12 content and is less competitive than JEE Main or AP EAMCET, but you still need to cover the full syllabus to score well — especially if you are targeting a scholarship rank.

1. Master the NCERT Textbooks

The VSAT syllabus is directly built on NCERT Class 11 and 12 textbooks. Read every chapter for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (or Biology) with proper understanding. Don’t just memorise answers — understand the concepts behind them. If you have covered NCERT thoroughly, VSAT questions will feel familiar.

2. Prioritise Class 12 Over Class 11

Class 12 chapters carry higher weightage in VSAT. Start with all Class 12 topics across your subjects first, then go back and revise Class 11 chapters. This ensures you cover the more heavily tested content early in your preparation.

3. Don’t Skip English and Aptitude

The English and Aptitude section carries 20 marks out of 120 — that is about 17% of the total paper. Many students focus only on the science subjects and lose easy marks in this section. Dedicate at least 2–3 hours every week to practising grammar rules, vocabulary, and logical reasoning. These questions are not hard and can meaningfully boost your rank.

4. Practise Previous Year Papers

Solving VSAT previous year question papers gives you a real sense of what to expect — the difficulty level, question types, and topic weightage. Time yourself strictly: 120 minutes for 120 questions. If you are regularly running out of time, you need to work on your speed.

5. Always Attempt All 120 Questions

There is no negative marking in VSAT. So even if you do not know an answer, eliminate the obviously wrong options and pick from what remains. Leaving a question blank is a definite zero — a guess at least gives you a chance.

6. Take Mock Tests in Computer Mode

Since VSAT is a computer-based test, practising only on paper can leave you unprepared for the actual interface. Take at least 3–5 full-length mock tests on a computer or laptop before the exam. This builds the speed and comfort you need on exam day.
