MH CET Law 3-year LLB CAP 2026 Round 1 alphabetical merit list will be released on July 17 at llb3cap26.mahacet.org. Grievance window runs July 17 to July 19. The State CET Cell will issue the final merit list on July 24 2026.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has scheduled the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 1 alphabetical merit list. It will be released on July 17, 2026. The list covers the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) 3-year LLB stream. Candidates can view it on the official CAP portal llb3cap26.mahacet.org.
The grievance submission window will stay open from July 17 to July 19, 2026. The CET Cell will publish the final merit list on July 24, 2026. Both lists are prepared separately for Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates.
The MH CET Law 3-year LLB CAP is the state-level counselling for admission to government, aided, and unaided law colleges in Maharashtra. Seat allotment follows the rank secured in the MH CET Law entrance test.
The CAP registration window ran from June 11 to July 13, 2026. As per the official CAP portal, 53,932 fresh registrations were received during this window. A total of 48,180 applications were locked and 39,874 were verified.

What Does the Alphabetical Merit List Contain?
The alphabetical list carries candidate entries in name order. Each entry shows the CAP application number and candidate name. Category, reservation flags, and the MH CET Law score are also displayed against each name.
How to Check the MH CET Law 3-Year LLB Alphabetical Merit List?
The list will be uploaded on the official CAP portal on July 17. Candidates need their login credentials to open the personal view.
- Visit llb3cap26.mahacet.org.
- Click on the CAP 2026 Round 1 alphabetical merit list link.
- Log in using your application ID and password.
- Check your name, category, gender, and CET score displayed.
- Save or print the personal merit page for future reference.

How to Raise a Grievance Against the Merit List?
Grievances can be filed from July 17 to July 19, 2026. Corrections are accepted only for errors in the alphabetical list details.
- Log in to the CAP portal with your credentials.
- Open the grievance tab under the Round 1 section.
- Select the field with the discrepancy and add remarks.
- Attach the supporting document proof for the correction.
- Submit the grievance before 11:59 PM on July 19, 2026.
Documents Verified During E-Scrutiny
E-scrutiny happens before the list release and covers the uploaded proofs. Candidates should ensure the following documents are already uploaded and verified on the portal.
- MH CET Law 3-year LLB 2026 scorecard.
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets.
- Graduation degree certificate and marksheets.
- Domicile certificate for Maharashtra State candidates.
- Category and non-creamy layer certificate where applicable.
What Happens After the Final Merit List?
The final merit list on July 24, 2026 sets eligibility for option form filling. Candidates then select preferred colleges in order of choice. Seat allotment is done based on rank, category, and the choices submitted.
Reporting to the allotted college is compulsory to confirm the seat. Candidates who miss reporting lose the seat and their place in later CAP rounds.
MH CET Law 5-Year LLB CAP 2026 Round 1 Dates
The five-year LLB stream runs on a separate calendar. The alphabetical merit list falls on July 22, 2026. The grievance window is open from July 22 to July 24. The final list is scheduled for July 28, 2026.
The 3-year LLB CAP portal has logged 53,932 fresh registrations this cycle. That marks a large applicant base for state law seats in Maharashtra.
