NIMCET 2026 Partial Admission Fee

How to Check NIMCET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates can follow the steps below to view their allotment status and complete online reporting.

  • Visit the official NIMCET counselling portal at nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
  • Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
  • Enter the application number and password to sign in.
  • Open the Round 1 seat allotment result section.
  • Download the provisional allotment letter for reference.
  • Proceed to pay the Rs 10,000 partial admission fee online.
  • Upload the required documents for online verification.

Participating Institutes Under NIMCET 2026

NIMCET seats are shared by 11 National Institutes of Technology and 2 Indian Institutes of Information Technology. These include NIT Agartala, NIT Allahabad, NIT Bhopal, NIT Delhi, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Raipur, NIT Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli, NIT Warangal, and NIT Calicut, along with two participating IIITs.

What Happens If a Candidate Misses the July 10 Deadline?

Candidates who fail to complete online reporting or pay the partial admission fee by July 10, 2026 will lose the allotted seat. The seat will be released to the common pool for the next round of counselling. Such candidates cannot claim the Round 1 allotment later.

Why This Matters

NIMCET is the only national-level MCA entrance accepted by NITs. A Round 1 seat here often decides admission to top MCA programmes in the country. Missing the July 10 reporting window means waiting for uncertain later-round vacancies.

Action Plan for Candidates

  • Log in at nimcet.admissions.nic.in and check the Round 1 allotment status.
  • Download and save the provisional seat allotment letter.
  • Arrange Rs 10,000 for the online partial admission fee.
  • Pay the fee within the July 7 to July 10, 2026 window.
  • Upload scanned copies of required documents for verification.
  • Decide on the willingness option, such as freeze, float, or slide, for further rounds.
Keep an Eye On

Watch the NIMCET portal for Round 2 seat allotment schedule and updated vacancy list. Candidates opting for float or slide should track fresh choice-filling instructions.
