NIT Agartala Releases Admission 2026 Reporting Schedule at nita.ac.in; Check Key Dates

The National Institute of Technology Agartala (NIT Agartala) has issued the provisional registration and physical reporting schedule for its 2026–27 UG, Dual Degree, MTech and MSc admissions. The two notices were published on August 4, 2026, on the official website at nita.ac.in. They apply to candidates allotted seats through JoSAA, CSAB, CCMT and CCMN 2026 counselling.

The first notice covers physical reporting for first-year UG and Dual Degree candidates admitted via JoSAA and CSAB 2026. The second notice sets the provisional registration process for MTech and MSc candidates allotted through CCMT and CCMN 2026. Both processes lead to final admission at the NIT Agartala campus.

The reporting schedule applies to four admission streams at NIT Agartala. Each stream has its own counselling body and portal.

• Undergraduate BTech seats allotted through JoSAA and CSAB 2026.
• Dual Degree programmes admitted via JoSAA and CSAB 2026.
• MTech, MArch and MPlan seats allotted through CCMT 2026.
• MSc and MSc (Tech.) seats allotted through CCMN 2026.

How to Complete Provisional Registration at NIT Agartala?

MTech and MSc candidates must complete online provisional registration first. This step confirms the allotted seat before physical reporting. The steps below are drawn from the official notice dated August 4, 2026.

1. Visit the official NIT Agartala website at nita.ac.in.
2. Open the notice titled “Provisional Registration CCMT CCMN 2026.”
3. Fill in the online registration form using the CCMT or CCMN allotment details.
4. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
5. Submit the form and download the registration acknowledgement for future reference.

How to Report Physically at NIT Agartala Campus?

Physical reporting is mandatory for final admission confirmation. UG and Dual Degree candidates must report between August 13 and August 18, 2026. CCMT candidates must report during the August 8 to August 12, 2026 window.

Candidates must carry the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) downloaded from their counselling login. They must also complete the balance fee payment as prescribed in the official notice. Failure to report within the specified window may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates should keep the following documents ready in original and photocopy form:

• Provisional Seat Allotment Letter (PSAL) from JoSAA, CSAB, CCMT or CCMN.
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates.
• Qualifying degree mark sheets for MTech and MSc candidates.
• Valid JEE Main, GATE or IIT JAM scorecard, as applicable.
• Category, PwD or EWS certificate in the prescribed format.
• Recent passport-size photographs and a government-issued photo ID.
• Fee payment receipt for the counselling seat acceptance amount.

2. Confirm your allotment status on the JoSAA, CSAB, CCMT, or CCMN portal.
3. Complete online provisional registration within the given window.
