PRSU B.Ed Entrance Exam to be held on 29 July Across 181 Centres in Uttar Pradesh

Joint B.Ed Admissions for 2020 will be administered by Lucknow University for which the university has scheduled to conduct entrance exams on July 29.

The B.Ed entrance exams will be held across the state of Uttar Pradesh at 181 exam centres for which it has plotted elaborated plans and made all the necessary arrangements. It is believed that PRSU will soon update Lucknow University with all the examination centres lists.

Earlier, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU), Raipur had begun B.Ed Admissions from February 14 till March 11, 2020. This year, more than 5 lakh students have applied for admissions into B.Ed Courses in the state. 


After the application processes ended, state universities of Uttar Pradesh were assigned the task to set examination centres. For Prayagraj division, PRSU has been considered the nodal centre.

B.Ed Entrance Examination Guidelines for 2020

As the examination will be conducted amid COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that social distancing norms are thrown at people, the university has increased the number of exam centres to 181, asserted Seshanath Pandey University Registrar.

As per the guidelines of the state, there can be only 156 centres in Parayagraj. Apart from this, there will be 15 centres in Kaushambhi while Fatehpur will have 5. 

Only 300 students will be allotted seats in one exam centre. The examination centres were finalised by 29 June 2020.
