SOIL Institute of Management Courses and Fees

SOIL Institute of Management offers three full-time postgraduate management programs. Total fees range from INR 14.50 Lakhs to INR 17.50 Lakhs for the full duration. Check SOIL Institute of Management Courses and Fees below:

Course Duration Eligibility Total Fees
PGDM 24 months Bachelor's degree with 50 percent, 45 percent for SC and ST, plus a valid AICTE-approved exam score INR 17.50 Lakhs
PGPM (Flagship) 12 months Bachelor's degree with 50 percent, 60 percent in Class 10 and Class 12, minimum 2 years work experience INR 15.33 Lakhs
PGPM-HR 12 months Bachelor's degree with 50 percent, 60 percent in Class 10 and Class 12 INR 14.50 Lakhs

The PGDM fee is collected across four instalments plus an enrolment payment. Year 1 carries INR 9.80 Lakhs and Year 2 carries INR 7.40 Lakhs. A refundable security deposit of INR 30,000 is returned after program completion.

All three fee figures include 18 percent GST on tuition, program and alumni components. Accommodation, books, course material and the Himalayan outreach and Discover India trips are charged separately. Education loan and EMI tie-ups are available with Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, HDFC Credila, Avanse, Yes Bank, IDFC First Bank and Tata Capital.

The PGDM does not lock students into a fixed specialisation. Students build a personal track across Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Strategy, HR and Operations based on interest and performance. The PGPM offers structured tracks in Marketing, Analytics and Finance, with added skill modules in data tools, cloud computing and Gen AI applications.

SOIL Institute of Management Admission Process

Admission is profile-driven rather than score-driven. A valid entrance exam score is mandatory under AICTE rules, but the institute publishes no fixed percentile cutoff and applies no sectional cutoffs. Exam scores carry 35 percent weight, while the group exercise and personal interview carry 40 percent. The application fee is INR 2000. The details around SOIL Institute of Management Admission is provided below:

Selection Parameter Weightage
Group Exercise and Personal Interview 40 percent
Entrance Exam Score 35 percent
Academic Record 15 percent
Extra-Curricular Achievement 5 percent
Work Experience 5 percent

PGDM Admission

The PGDM is the flagship two-year program at the Manesar campus. Eligibility and selection work as follows.

  • Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years after 10+2 from a UGC or AIU recognised university
  • 50 percent aggregate for General, OBC and EWS candidates and 45 percent for SC and ST candidates
  • Final-year students may apply, with the degree submitted by October 1, 2027
  • Only freshers and candidates with under 36 months of work experience as on June 30, 2027 are eligible
  • Valid score in CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, NMAT, SNAP or ATMA

The selection stages run in sequence.

  • Online application with supporting documents and recommendations
  • Profile shortlisting on a holistic review of academics, work experience and achievements
  • Group exercise conducted as a 90-minute Design Thinking Workshop
  • Personal interview, followed by the final decision in 2 to 3 weeks
  • Registration and fee payment to confirm the seat

PGPM and PGPM-HR Admission

Both one-year programs run at the Gurgaon campus and share the same selection architecture. The PGPM is positioned for working professionals, while PGPM-HR also admits freshers.

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50 percent aggregate
  • Minimum 60 percent in Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations
  • PGPM requires at least 2 years of prior work experience
  • Valid CAT, XAT, NMAT or GMAT score, or the SOIL Aptitude Test for candidates without one
  • GEPI stage combines a group design-thinking exercise with a 45-minute personal interview

Candidates are assessed on five declared capacities across the interview stage. These are the capacity to think, to learn, to act, to relate and to communicate. The incoming cohorts are deliberately mixed, with the PGDM 2024-26 batch drawing 46 percent women from 24 states, and the PGPM-HR cohort recording 65 percent women.

On cutoffs, the institute states that no minimum score is prescribed and that no section of the entrance exam is treated as a gate. In practice a competitive CAT percentile strengthens the 35 percent exam component, but a weaker score can be offset by work experience and interview performance. PwD candidates are assessed on equal terms with accommodations provided during the selection process.

SOIL Institute of Management Placements

SOIL Institute of Management placements are run by a dedicated Career Management Services team covering all three programs. Across the latest reported cycles, 130 plus firms visited the PGDM campus and 106 companies recruited from the one-year PGPM batch. Check SOIL Institute of Management Placements below:

Program Highest CTC Average CTC Top 50 Percent CTC Recruiters
PGPM (Flagship) INR 25 LPA INR 13.9 LPA INR 16.4 LPA 106 companies
PGDM INR 24.8 LPA INR 11.83 LPA INR 13.48 LPA 130 plus firms

Consulting is the single largest recruiting sector for the PGPM batch at 35 percent, followed by IT and ITES at 23 percent and general management at 21 percent. Confirmed recruiters across cycles include Accenture, Deloitte, PwC India, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Axis Bank, HSBC, Kotak Mahindra, PolicyBazaar, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp and Gartner. Around 30 percent of the PGPM recruiters and 40 percent of the PGPM-HR recruiters were first-time hirers.

The alumni network is the asset students cite most often. The institute reports 2,500 plus alumni working across 300 plus organisations on six continents, backed by a consortium of 32 founding companies that feeds mentorship and referrals. Recruiter reach is concentrated in Delhi NCR services roles, so candidates targeting investment banking or product management outside the NCR corridor should plan for off-campus effort alongside the campus process.

SOIL Institute of Management Campus and Infrastructure

The two-year PGDM runs from the SOIL School of Business Design at Plot 23, Sector 02, Phase 01, Manesar, in South Gurugram. The one-year PGPM and PGPM-HR programs operate from Plot 76, Sector 44, Gurgaon. The Manesar building is designed around natural light in every room, with rainwater harvesting and energy-saving equipment.

Academic infrastructure covers smart-enabled classrooms, design labs, an incubation centre and a digital library carrying academic journals, case studies, business reports and e-books. An HR Lab and a Product Lab support the program-specific tracks. Medical care is available on campus and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled throughout.

There is no hostel inside the Manesar campus boundary. Accommodation is arranged in hostels located within 2 km of the campus, and the institute runs a bus service between the hostel and the campus. Accommodation charges sit outside the published program fee.

Student life is structured rather than incidental. Five Business Academies cover HR, Analytics and Operations, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Finance, and 10 student clubs run alongside them. Experiential Fridays put pottery sessions, hackathons and photography walks on the calendar, while wellness programming covers yoga, meditation, dance and counselling. PGDM students log 350 hours of field-based community work and 100 hours of entrepreneurship activity. Students consistently rate faculty access and the small-cohort teaching model highly, though the campus footprint is modest compared with large residential B-school campuses.

SOIL Institute of Management vs Great Lakes Gurgaon vs BIMTECH

Aspirants evaluating SOIL in the Delhi NCR private B-school band most often weigh it against Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon and BIMTECH, Greater Noida. All three are AICTE-approved standalone institutes with fees in the mid-teens to low-twenties in Lakhs.

Parameter SOIL Institute of Management Great Lakes Gurgaon BIMTECH Greater Noida
Flagship Program PGDM, 24 months and PGPM, 12 months PGPM, 12 months PGDM, 24 months

Average CTC INR 13.9 LPA (PGPM), INR 11.83 LPA (PGDM) INR 16.2 LPA Around INR 11 LPA
Highest CTC INR 25 LPA (PGPM), INR 24.8 LPA (PGDM) INR 34.5 LPA INR 22 LPA domestic, INR 24.43 LPA international
Exams Accepted CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, NMAT, SNAP, ATMA CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT
Collegedunia MBA Rank 85 out of 350 (2026) 87 out of 371 (2025) 66 out of 370 (2025)

Great Lakes Gurgaon leads on average and highest CTC for the one-year route, but charges the steepest fee of the three. BIMTECH offers the lowest fee and an NIRF position, with placement averages close to SOIL's two-year PGDM. SOIL sits in between on cost and leads on breadth of accepted entrance exams, a design-thinking led curriculum and a 32-company founding consortium. Batch sizes at SOIL are smaller than at BIMTECH, which means closer faculty access but a narrower on-campus recruiter base.

SOIL has a good reputation for its focus on leadership development and specialized programs like MBA in Finance. It emphasizes experiential learning, leadership training, and soft skills, which could be valuable for your career in finance. If you are aiming to develop both your technical and leadership skills, SOIL could be a good fit. SOIL has an established placement record, but like many other business schools, the placement quality can vary from year to year. For finance, SOIL places its graduates in prominent companies, including in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, and other finance-related roles.
