Best college for MCA

Good infrastructure hostel facility mess facility focused on cultural and technical events big library bad only few senior faculty Less campus selection and company visiting.

I choosed ITM Gwalior for MCA by appearing in MP Pre MCA entrance exam in which I secured around 70%. I have to go to RGPV Bhopal for counselling. I was allocated in 2nd round for counselling at that time most of all government college was filled.I was expecting to admit in Madhav Institute of Technology Gwalior but unfortunately it was filled on very first day,so I select ITM (Institute of Technology and Management Gwalior) but it was also good.

Course covered in 6 semester each of 6 months.

During my course only few companies visited ITM some of companies like TCS,Impetus.I was selected in Impetus with a stipend of 7000 per months.ITM has dedicated department named TnP which continuously focused to students skills and also try to tie up with more and more companies to visit the collage.

Only few companies visited during my course and only few students was selected.As an average 3.5 lacs was offered to candidate and initially job was started with stipend of 7000.

ITM focused many of technical and cultural function and events.Every year ITM celebrate annual function along with fresher and farewell party apart of it student goes to many technical event also.During 4th and 5th semester college arrange some technical training mostly of programming language networking and unix.

For me it was looking expensive i paid around 45000 per year and examination fees was extra every semester.You have to apply bus facility which is mandatory for at least first 2 semester.

Government scholarship is available in college but don't help to get loan from banks.There is no college scholarship or any other kind of facility available.

Once in a year college organised spots and other kind of cultural function.I didn't see any kind of partiality apart of some like,ITM is a college which provide courses like BE, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA but initially it was established for BE so more and more they provide attention on BE student and give first preferences to them as a MCA student I felt it.

I didn't go to hostels as I belongs to same city but college have hostel facility and also mess.Mess food was good with normal rates.

College organised alumni function every year in which they send the invitation to most of student and basically who are doing good job as I felt.I have never joined any alumni function.

Exams are conduct in ITM itself under the supervisory of RGPV.Courses are designed in way like you have a practical subject for which we have to attend labs 3 times in a weeks and it was chilled out.

It is drawback of ITM.ITM has only few senior faculty other all are new or only 2-3 year experienced.You will not get the chance to deep knowledge or you have to hard work to yourself for getting more knowledge and I don't think all faculty will help you
