Remarks

Overall this is a good college if you want to pursue B.tech and want to be placed in good companies. The faculties here, the infrastructure, the campus everything is very good and it provides a good study environment for the students to learn and enhance

Entrance Preview

There is a separate exam for this college known as VITEEE which is conducted every year and they take students based on rank. I got an all India rank of 28848 in this exam. I opted for this college because my cousin also studied here and the placement offers given by them is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The courses offered here are strictly related to b.tech engineering. They have their own pattern of the syllabus that they follow every year and we have semester exams at the end of every semester.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am in the first year I don't have any internship experience but as my cousin told me he did an internship at cisco company. Moreover, there are many companies that hire students from VIT every year such as Wipro, cognizant, TCS, and many more.

Placement Experience

5

The companies that visit here hire almost every student since in VIT there is 100% placement and they even give good packages with average packages ranging from 6-8 lacs. This year the highest package that was given was 20 lacs to a student from the Computer Science branch.

College Events

4

There are various events that take place in our college every year. We have a fest every year called Techno VIT and it is a great success. It sees huge participation of students and the students with a creative mind and suitably awarded as there are many cash prizes to be won.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college has different fees for different branches. And if you score a good rank in its exam that is VITEEE then the fee will be comparatively less. The fee ranges from 1.75 lacs to 5 lacs every year depending upon your rank and the branch you have opted for.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives a 100% fee waiver to students who come under the top 100 rank and a 75% fee waiver to students whose rank fall between 100-250.

Campus Life

5

The campus life in VIT is also nice. There are many sports activities that take place in VIT. There are also many clubs such as trekking, robotics android, and many more. The gender ratio here for boy: the girl is 60:40. The best part of this college is that it says it has a ragging free campus and they really mean it. The college has imposed a huge fine for students who rag so ragging is strictly prohibited.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel infrastructure is also very good. They provide separate study table and bunk beds to each student also you need not clean the rooms on your own as they also provide cleaners. You can choose double-bedded three bedded and four bedded rooms on your choice

Alumni/Alumna

Till now to whomsoever I have interacted always gives positive feedback about the college. The seniors also guide us nicely. Moreover, my own cousin has studied here and is now placed in a good company in Bangalore. This college is basically famous for its C.S branch in B.tech but it takes care of all branches equally.

Exam Structure

Coming to academics the exam structure is also very strict and every semester there are 2 normal exams accompanied by a one-semester end exam also called FAT. The marks given here are based on relative grading.

Faculty

5

The faculty here are very friendly and always ready to help. There is a rule here that the faculties can't leave college before 7 pm so that even if the students have doubts they can clarify it after the classes. Since it is a reputed college the faculty

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
