Remarks
It is overall one of the best colleges in India although intake is high they still had facilities to accommodate all of them without any problem. Rules are a bit strict but they are for your wellness.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is Good. every student irrespective of Branch has to learn Basic of coding Like Python, C, C++, Java. You can also choose many subjects from other branches too. so you would learn Basic coding
Placement Experience
Believe it or not. Placement is one of the Plus Points of VIT. Almost everyone is placed to some company or another. there are hundreds of job offers in the range of 35+ Lakhs. CSE placements are good and the rest of the Branch placement is above average.
College Events
We have two Fest in college. Tech fest is called Gravitas and the cultural fest is Riviera. These are held in Oct and Feb Respectively. Riviera is considered as the Top 5 Cultural Fest In India. You would surely enjoy this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
VIT is Expensive. At least you have to spend 3 Lakh per year which includes mess, hostel, Fees. This is the minimum fee. Your fees could increase if you choose facilities like AC rooms etc. But if you rank below 1000 in VITEEE then you would get a scholarship up to 75% of tuition fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The loan is offered by various banks. As VIT is one of the top Engineering colleges in India banks will easily give you a loan. also, the institute gives scholarship to those who get rank less than 1000 in VITEEE
Campus Life
Labs are well maintained and they have nearly all the equipment that you would need. the sports facility is also good. They had a cricket ground, an indoor stadium for badminton or other games. The outdoor stadium is big enough to play nearly all the games.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. The infrastructure is very good. although it is crowded they had arrangements for all. All Hostels are well managed and properly cleaned. It would be a place where you could live comfortably. other facilities include Gym, Tennis, Swimming, etc
Alumni/Alumna
VIT has a good alumni network. They are helpful. You can find VITian in nearly every big Company Like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, or others. Alumni are present in every field like art, academic, Corporate, etc. they are everywhere
Admission
Give VITEEE Exam and Counselling is done using VITEEE Rank. You Need to have a good rank to get a Scholarship. Also, Your Fees are Decided by Your Rank. It means Lower Rank Means Low Fees. VITEEE is Generally regarded As the Third most difficult Entrance engineering After Jee Mains, BITSAT.
Faculty
some are very good, some are average. Some teach very well, some are just fine. There is every type of faculty here. High experienced, high Qualified. The faculty is cooperative and you can also research with them.
