Remarks

College management is good according to me. Only some things which must be maintained are the sports ground, labs, and mainly the water points. Only one water point of the college give cold water and others are not.

Entrance Preview

After 12th i gave many competitive exams and when i was not able to qualify any exam then one of my friend told me to take admission in DU because for admission in DU there is no competitive exam. So on the basis of my 12th marks i got admission in acharya narendra dev college of delhi university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very good and vast. Here students are provided summer projects and also 1 year projects which is based on minor research upto bsc level so that student can do research at higher level without any difficulty. Here teachers are the best chemistry faculties i have seen yet except one or two. They make the level of students high day by day.

Internships Opportunities

I do not take part in any internship meeting yet. But companies came for the internships with about 10000-12000 stipend per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

Companies like WIPRO, IBM, TCS etc will come to my college with a good package ( approx 2.5 to 6 lac per annum). So my college provide good job opportunities to students.

College Events

4.5

All DU colleges organise their own fest in college. My college also organise a annual fest which is not so big as other colleges of DU and chief guest invited in our college fest is also a great and well known personality like kiran bedi. All departments also organise their own fests which are very good and enjoyful. Students of other colleges and universities also came to take part in my college and departmental fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Biggest disadvantage of my college is that it do not contain any hostel for students. The quality of food provided in college canteen is very poor. Students live in private PG's and pay monthly rent more then that of college yearly fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are also available for all category students. More no. of scholarships are available for needy students.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is not so good. Campus is very very small and sports ground is very poorly maintained. If any student want to be a sport person then i suggest that do not take admission in my college. There are very large no. of extracurricular activities held in the college day by day. Many theatre societies like 'dhwani' and 'dhun' are active societies of the college and they represent the college at higher levels. Labs are not well maintained. Many of the observation machines are not working in the labs. Students have wait for long time for his/her turn to take readings.Yearly elections are held in the college for various posts of the college and that elections time is the most enjoyable time of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Interactions with teachers, seniors or students of other departments is very normal.Every student is provided mentor so that if in any case student has any problem he/she can discuss the problem with mentor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

There is a proctive college placement cell tied to every department and every semester/batch students via a placement coordinator who facilitates communication between the cell and students. Students are eligible for paid internships early in their college tenure, with placements following later. KPMG, upGrad Campus, Collegedunia, Deloitte are some of the large number of visiting companies and they offer guaranteed placements.

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
