Best for degree + further exam preparation like JAM/CAT/XAT/TOFEL/SSC/UPSC/UGCNET/GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview

6 semester in bsc based on cbcs system.75% attendance required strictly.u have to spend 2 hrs daily in laboratory of physics and chemistry. 2 times internals will be conducted by your subject teacher each of 10/20 marks contributing to your Mark sheet.

Placement Experience

Every year companies hire candidate from our versity. But they don't offer good package for bsc graduate like MCA/B.TECH students. So u have to be very choosy if want placement after graduation. Best of luck.

College Events

Shradhanand hockey tournament. College annual festival Inter departmental events. Nothing special than others.

Fee is very nominal from 5 k to 10 k.

Admission

When I took admission , there was no entrance but from last year they started to take admission by entrance that is quite easy to moderate in nature.After entrance they will declare result. If u get your name in list you will be called for counselling. After reporting and successfully document verification u will be allowed to deposit fee via online mode and now you are part of GKV family.

Faculty is really good except some scholars. Occasionally scholars take classes and they do just khanapurti. On the part of teachers they try their best be it syllabus problem or personal problem. They tried their best to shape your future if u co-operate them.

My honest review of MBPG College

Likes

Being a government college the fees are very low and student friendly most teachers are knowledgeable supportive and clear in explanation focus on studies exam and all over all discipline
Open ground greenery and enough space to relax between classes decent collection of academic books and difference material
Easy to reach from different part of Haldwani lesson unnecessary pressure more focus on its education

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old type som building needs to get repair
Campus placement opportunity are very few from classroom slabs and building need renovation
Not many model amenties compared to private colleges office works can be slow

Social life is good with feat happening around in college.
Wifi is provided in our building and the hostel.
Infrastructure of our new hostel and our labs is good

Dislikes

Teachers are qualified but the quality education is not good
Too much restriction on girls but boys are free to roam at night.
Mess food is just acceptable not that good.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students need to be atleast in last or second last semester of the course. But for internship it's fine even if student is in 1st or 2nd yr. But most of teh students here decided to pursue master from here only and I still don't know have exact idea hown many students got placed in th companies.

When one enters the final semester they become eligible for campus placement and many companies offers and discusses with them. Companies such as IGL, Vib care pharma, AVANTOR and many others visits every year with offers.

From 7 semester student are eligible for placement. There are various plywood industries and forest base non Timber industries and cricket industries. The highest average package is like 4.5 lakh per year.

I liked mostly the environment of my college. College. was situated in hills . So the peace , the environment, weather, education everything was perfect. The rooms , library, the field of our college
The education system of our college was good .I liked the most the education system every faculty was good and take responsibility of each students.the teaching was of faculty was superb . Every we understand easily. The also teach us on ppt .
Department of science,arts each department was available and a big auditorium for function parties was there. Each subject lab also there . lab instruments lso available

Dislikes

One thing was I disliked was due to cold weather or snowfall dec to february college is closed.
I disliked the book issue system it takes maximum time to get a book from my college.
The period was too long . Not only 1 hour it almost 2 hour classes.
