The college is the best college of hotel management.The college has been declared 2nd position for the best college for hotel management in India and 27th rank in world as per the magazine.Thier is no negative remark about the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is only for those guys who are passionate for hotel management I was so I entered this college. Exam structure is like you will have 8 semester all total for 4 years.In first year you will have 2 semester in December and may.In second year again to semester . In 3rd year you will have internship and marks will be given according to the report and 4th year same as 3rd year .
Placement Experience
Internship is conducted as a normal placement but the interview will be conducted on skype the stipen will be good depending on which hotel you selecy. The placement is better then all other ihm colleges the big big multinational hotels come to take the student from wgsha like Marriott,Taj,Oberoi,Accord etc.They all have different selection criteria.
College Events
Every event is celebrated very beautifully weather it is diwali or eid or Karnataka rajya utsav. The best thing to enjoy is local festivals . We celebrate all festivals like Diwali ,Eid, Christmas,Laxmi puja.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The is bit expensive because they provide world class facility better then any other colleges.They give you all amenities for the better experience. You will be going through many new dishes you will be taught cutting of a whole chicken and fish.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Scholarships are only given to the local people who are staying or speaking Kannad or to those who actually need it based on percentage he/she got in 12th grade.The college has a good infrastructure so the fees is bit expensive.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are excellent because they provide a sports complex named marena that is the biggest complex in India.If you are good in a sports the college will automatically take you and develop your skill and take you to higher level.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very nice their are far better security in the hostel whole campus is covered with cctv cameras and biometric sensor. The care taker are also nice they also provide 24x7 hospital facility.They also have ac and non AC room as per your convenience.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of wgsha are celebrity chef now chef Vikas Khanna he is a alumni of wgsha. And the senior are also very helpful because it's a ragging free college so the senior try to help you whenever you need.
Admission
First we have to select a location where the interview is conducted then you will have to fill the form of admission then send the form.After that you have to go to the test center,there you will be given your batch number for gd and panel interview after gd you will have department test and panel interview followed by personal after all this they will also brief you about the college and fee structure.Then the result will be announced in two or three weeks.
Faculty
The faculty is always helping and caring. Firstly they will be strict to you after they get to know you they becomes like friend they will help you in everything you will get to learn with very talented person in the college.

The college campus is very small no space at all and no sports ground. They are taking another ground for sports fest and all. No political activities that's is main demerits. Politics in campus will improve social commitment of students

The college infrastructure is not so great as it was established very early and is in a very busy, political area near to the Vidhana soudha Bangalore. Positive comments include that the college is actually situated in a very good place and the weather over here is also very good and campus placements are very good and the college can be reached from anywhere as there is good transportation facility and is near to the metro station

Only positive comments. I am really happy to join this college. I am enjoying my life. All the faculties are good at teaching. Moreover that they are very vigilant about us. Duty of a teacher is not only to teach the students. They must take care of the students and see them as their own childrens. The same thing is happening in our college. Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is quite good and research oriented. Tourism is a outdoor activity nd it needs lot of field work to understand the structure of tourism. In this regard am happy with my college.
